Hey Mariner. Welcome to the game and to the forums.

First off, great post with some good questions and points. I'll try to answer some things as best I can:

1. I don't know your class, but here is some reading material for you to look through...

http://www.onethumbmobile.com/celticher ... f=4&t=1252 (Mostly pertains to update 2 but has some good info... currently the game is Update 3.)

KS is a raging debate. I don't think it has been answered

I agree with marco that joining a clan is a good way to learn for others' experiences. One note on his killing table, I agree with him if your main goal is money. If you want to level, though, I would add connacht horses to the mix at around level 45... Great exp, but zero gold, and no drops.

2. Drops is the game... they certainly give you some extra gold. It is frustrating when you sell something that you find out you need an hour later. If you continue with the pelts, keep regular, fine and pristine... sell the wrecked. Once you get up to your 20s and 30s, you can make some good cash in Dustwither... a fair amount of armour drops that you can sell to a vendor.

As you play, you will learn what is quest, and what is vendor junk.

One more thing about money: there is currently a summer event going on. Some people are collecting stones that are laying around Lir's. Collect them and you can get a mask to wear, but if you don't care about the mask and just want cash, collect the stones and sell them to other players.

3. That story is hilarious. Lucky you. Nice thing is that it is close to the leystone. lol. Ya, the level 15 area has two more dragons: level 90 and lvl 140.

This is annoying. I made it where i am right now. Some noob sells a black mask for 30k. Then, he trades with me and wants the black mask for my sled.
You can get those masks in boxes in the arena and you just pick it up and thats it. If there are other people competing for the masks and if their level is lower or if you can kill them, kill them. If elite comes, run away before you die. They ruined our arena anniversary so everybody basically died. lol
Not playing celtic heroes anymore
Even though I quit, nobody is getting anything.

How about you let mobs drop armor and weapons more? Especially armor. The armor drops in the game are VERY limited. A lot of things are just the same thing with embossed, hammered, tanned, or woven in front of the name. Plus, most weapons and armor that are drops can be bought in stores. So please, make mobs drop more special weapons and armor. They don't have to be overpowered though. Just different looking. Maybe crookbacks, dustwither mobs, and the skullcrushers could all do this. Not to mention shalemont, stonevale, and otherworld.

First, skip the wolf hide quest lol.

Second, join a low level clan, they can help answer some questions. Briefly this is what you should do:

lvl 13-20 follow main quest line and start grinding (killing mob after mob) (mob is monster) in duskwither.

28ish start killing in shalemont. Group and or solo. Stay in shale until at least 60!! Trust me on this.

40-52 kill ribbonswords while picking up fettlecap mushrooms, sell fettles 20 gold each.

52-55ish kill defenders and ironclads at the river, skip protectors.

55-60 go up the stairs at the river and kill monsters up there.

That should get u started.
Wow, nice reply, thank you!

Low level clan - LOL hard to find out who the various clans are, much less what level they are. So far, I have gotten Blind (as in no one asked first or even introduced themselves) from 4 or 5 different clans, one of which tried to invite me like 8 times! I don't know what the norm is in Celtic, but in other MMOs I'e played, Blind invite = disorganized or no organization, probably created by someone who just wanted to be a leader without really knowing what it Means to be a leader.
Where is Duskwither? I've 'toured" all of Lir's and may just not remember which place this is. I'm doing quests from the docks right now leveling up to kill those L19 3 stars (this is part of the main quest line).

By the way, what about L21 - 27?

Thanks as well Dersu! Yea, scam is nothing new to me, thankfully lol. Just last night, someone offered to make me rich by giving me 100K, but first I had to give Him all my gold! yay! I asked him if he had a bridge to sell too, and he never replied :D

P.S. I'm a warrior at the moment (I usually start with a heavy class in RPGs, as they tend to be more forgiving of noob idiocies :), and there is a guide there but not very in-depth, unfortunately. I've already sent a couple of follow up Qs (like DW or 2H for DPS)

It's the Catacombs it's the dungeon zone inside the Graveyard between the Temple and the Docks.

I think 21-27 I spent in there mostly. Good grinding and a few quests. There are two leystones one at the top and one further down.
