Re: Okay.. Just how much strength after 350 helps.....

Well when a warrior and rogue have the same strength, of course the warrior will hit higher! None the less, the rogue has better dps as they should :D

From my take and how OTM designed warriors, I think this SHOULD be the order i which stats are given to a warrior...
Vitality, Strength, Dexterity, Focus (slight correction)

I dont know if you had focus before but with frozen, there isnt a need. You dont need 2 of those bracelets; replace one with a damage charm. (just an example). Take advantage of that energy given from frozen. The attack bonus IS a rogue stat. Sure, there is no defense bonus with frozen, but stacking the armor even more dexterity means you can have that defense and even more attack! Come on, look at the plus side to this plateau :)

My rogue won't get frozen for a long time as my main and first alt take priority over my rogue as of now, but I am happy for you rogue! This is actualy a good thing. No need to worry about the other stats now that strength plateaus for every class, not just yours.

Also.. If 300 is the cut-off point for Strength.. How can a Rogue show true DPS? All DPS is going to stay very equal between ranger warriors and rogues.. Mages may be able to top it directly at high level because theirs is based on focus and not Strength, but in-direct DPS, as I've seen you post.. Mages rule by a mile.
About dps from focus... Scroll up and read what I said. Focus plateaus iys effect on spells too buddy.
And yes, indirect dps is great but remember it is not direct! Meaning they rely on you rogues :)

I wish.. But my Energy is not the problem.. I get enough energy from my lux items and I have 15 energy in stats.. My problem is my Energy Regen.. I can not, even with 45 Energy Regen, spam my damage skills all boss fight. (by this I mean sneaky, quickstrike, Poison Weapon, and Smoke Bomb, with Assassinate at the end). I have to take breaks all the time. And energy does not contribute to what I am aiming for.. Attack does, and so would pierce damage, but not energy.

I would rather no cut off point for Strength, for any classes.. It only really affects Rogues and DPS Warriors, and sometimes rangers but they get great dps from Dex. Also, Warriors they will be happy with 300ish strength because they can stay close to rogues, whereas DPS Rogues would go on to a 500+ Strength build, which they should. Rogues come out worst from a Strength cut-off point.

Also - I haven't seen the difference in skills, so if a Mage or Druid could post a skills damage before and after shot difference,(screenie) between say 350-355 or 425-430, it would be appreciated.

Would you like to sponser me? 2 rebirth and 2 alternations?
I would but I have no plat and I'm saving for a Venom dagger as I opted to keep my Ice Sword when they were refunding lol.. Times are hard.

Alright, just trade them to me whenever you would like to see lol. Just try not to think of the strength plateau as a bad thing or at least try and take advantage of it.

Hi- if you search Mdimarco he started a thread that worked out versions of the math for the plateau. They all seem to level off in terms of effecting att, def, dmg about 350.

Here is one of the threads on FireBolt:

I think dex is the most undervalued.

This plateau is one reason leveling slows down so much. Our attacks get capped, but not so with the mob defense and attack, apparently. Another aspect is that if you used lux jewelry early it effects you at a much higher percentage at low levels, also effectively creating a cap effect.

This is also true for almost all the buffs since they are fixed numbers rather than percentages. Abundance, for instance, becomes useless on tanks because the fixed number represents such a low percentage of their health. It does not scale in other words.

Whether intentional or not, combined with the need to specialize, say as a tank, this effectively makes grouping necessary.
