If you have the quest you get the drops. Xells idea of all wariors getting the red crests would invalidate the whole point of having colored crests. But if you dont have the quest you dont get a crest. if you dont have the quest you dont get a frag or rem or tab. This would be a step in the right direction but it may have coding issues.

Making all frags no trade will remove high level economic faming.

I say we try it for a few months. it can always go back.

Well I think no-trade is a last resort so I say only make dragons no-trade. But if it is all no-trade disks or none, I would probably go for all. It is a problem if I can easily get into a stonelord, all seeing, ect. group easily but not falgren lol.

If you are level 120 surely you could have bought them by now? I don't know about prices on your world but I have seen them 40K ea and lower on Danu. That kind of money can easily be farmed in a day.

All MMOs are like this, if you want the highet tier boss drops then you need to be in a good clan, otherwise be prepared to pay for them.

I haven't seen any offered for sale for like a month. All the high levels clans are camping and hoarding and won't even let a well respected 120 like me into the group without promising the drop.

And the problem is this is not supposed to be a high tier drop. I can get crests easier than this.

I disagree strongly. Making them no trade will not fix this and will make it harder for some. If my clannnie gets one, then they can trade me it. I have a lvl 120+ druid that needs one so you cant put a lvl cap on it either! People will still camp fal if these are no trade for the gold or to help clan members get them. The way to fix this is either have only falgren spawn (no brutus, murwell or ventus) or have drops go only to those who need it for the quest. Period!

Guys dragon disk is a big part of the economy Making them no trade would hurt everyone. The wealth trickles down just saying this would not be fair for people who bought dragon disk aswell

Tell me one other boss where people just stand there waiting for it. The only reason they do is because dragon disks are tradeable.

Redbane drops just as much gold as falgren and drops better things than crown disks but do you see high levels standing there waiting for him to spawn? no.

The people's dragon disks that are tradeable would actually stay the same or go up in value I would think. Only the new ones would be no-trade, making the tradeable ones sought after.

My prediction is if dragon disks were made no-trade, high levels would leave falgren be and let the people in the clan who need dragon disks to check for fal. That would take a lot of high level pressure off of fal and give others more breathing room to kill him.

Easier solution just level cap the bosses. Keep the high levels killing the high level bosses and doing the high level quests. All I know after reading the target lock thread is that is certainly not going to work, I predict if it is implemented it will be a disaster.
