Because that was what the Cultist Assassin dropped and he was holding a dagger. It looks just like loot to me and it was intentionally broken. It sells for 1000 gold. Are you sure we can get a real dagger as a replacement?

Support has clarified that it is not a bug. It is just a loot to be sold to the shop for 1000 gold. So, Aileron, you are right.

Hey sorry my mistake I thought the poster was saying there was an issue with the item he got - I've asked for the name to be changed on these to stop them sounding like there is a bug, so it would be a damaged weapon now or something like that.

No worries and thanks for clarifying. Thought it was a bug like the previous chicken bug for charms.

there are also broken connacht weapon things, i got one to sell for 50 at lux
