Tasty quest
Only done this once so far, but killing L90** mobs and not getting XP, only to get 16Kish XP on turn in doesn't make sense.
I did this at L90, equal to the mob levels. A L90** Purple eye would give me around 2800Xp. 5 of them (or was it 6) would have given 14K XP.
The food reward is not too bad, but really quite useless outside of group fights or when trying to solo a boss.
Arena quest
WHY Arena? You might as well have invited people to grief each other when trying to do this quest. This morning, one guy killed every one who tried to go in the arena. I realize that's the point of the Place (and don't really blame the guy), but why put a quest in there (hence I blame OTM!)???
This is one quest I won't be doing again.
Actually, they didnt make the quest in the arena, the game would be repetitive, just saying, they would might as well reuse the same ideas as looking for all the leystones and get 9k xp, if thats even remotely close to what your saying. The arena encourages people to level. Since you are expecting people to be there and kill you, this should give you the drive to level over them and overcome their tyranny. The point is, it even says that beware of other players. Not to brag about my own character, as it is also flawed in many different way, no build is perfect, everyone plays differently, its just the player thats different on how he or she looks at approaching the game; my character is at 112, there are people in the arena hogging these quest mobs, they're around 10 levels above me (like around 120's). I got killed once by a 141. So i immediately used an alt book to go full dps (as i was pure support, my stats are fine, just need skills to differentiate a little). I killed competition and partnered up with some clanmates and destroyed the quest mob. Then after, i went back to pure support. I slept in real life. An hour or two later, the same people that killed me were there, knowing i was a little too strong, they did not even fight me over my intentions of being there. (I had to help a clanmate get the quest kill). They just chatted to me about my character and more.
Moral of the story is, work hard or die hard. Meaning that if you see that someone is overcoming you, you have to work as hard, or harder than how they got to that point of overcoming you. And you must counter their actions their actions through yours.
