I have a suspicion OTM is going to make the Bosses a little more dynamic once this gets into place.

Anyone remember Boss Summoning from EQ? It completed negated any kiting of bosses. The boss would simply summon the Kiter directly to it and proceed to pound him / her 6 feet underground. Every player had to control their aggro at a boss fight, if you got higher on aggro list then tank, you got summoned and then lights out.

Also don't forget the Complete Heal spell. Boss would be down to 1% health and would get that spell off and BAM! Full Health. The groans of the players could be heard across an entire continent.

My point is OTM plans to make the game better and this could be a step in making boss fights more exciting. Give it a chance!

It's coming in, whether we like or not.

I just hope the beta testers take this seriously, as if it doesn't work out, it's going to take a whole nother update to remove it.
I will occasionly browse the forums, but for the most part im done.

For me, target lock would ruin the current game for me. Of course im not a pro-kser and yes i am in the top clan of Morrigan (Avalon) but i am a pure tank and my only other charac is a druid and even if ive been ksed sometimes obviously it wouldnt help at all. Plus for devloppers theres no point in putting target lock since if a group of rogues try to ks they will obviously use pots/idols and the first group uses some too but with target lock you would just need to pot the boss till ur clan arrives so just 1 group uses plat. Also for the aggra issue if you take an hour to kill it ur not strong enough for it. Our clan did it over 20 times and our average time is less then 13 minutes our record under 11. If 4-5 rogues try to ks just warp to tower a rogue cant survive dragon fire. For the lvling issues target lock wouldnt help since high lvls who ks the lower ones (i think there stupid) but they would still continue to do it and high lvls would power lvl their alts on the mobs that a lower main would kill. What competition do you have on Morrigan? Arnt you the only clan even capable of taking bosses? Rhiannon's fastest Aggragoth time is 59minutes by EternalSin, closest to that is around 1hr 30min I think, but we're not ready for Aggragoth because you can kill it quicker? Get your head out your clans arse and understand that not all worlds have 1 Clan with all the top level players. Theirs no doubt that Avalon is a top clan and congratulations on all of your achievements, but I'm bored of hearing all of your boasting on forums.

For me, I'm not sure how the target lock will work out. I'm hoping for the best, but I'm willing to give it a shot. Also, no we don't have many problems with ksing on Rhiannon.
On a sde note, wouldn't it suck to be in a world with one ridiculously large clan? Oh wait, my world has that.
