Two wrongs meaning just because someone else does something wrong doesn't mean you can do something wrong too and it be ok.

I know what the phrase means, but I don't see how it applies to Ailwen's situation. Please elaborate.

Your analogy doesn't fit as she admitted to being a part of the scheme. She didn't get banned because her name was supposedly a bad word, she got banned because she lied to support.

The ban happened before this post. So how can he admit that he lied to support? If support figured out (or assumed) that the players who reported the name as being offensive lied about the name, why weren't those accounts banned also? After all that's where the support ticket came from, if the reason for the ban is lying, then those players are as much guilty as Ailwen, don't you think?

Support can read whispers and all game communications, so they could have easily had proof.

The post complains about others doing something wrong and not getting banned, and her doing somwthing wrong and getting banned. This is where two wrongs don't make a right. She/He is assuming if they can get away with it, so should I be able to and that kind of attirude warrants no sympathy. It doesn't matter if others are just as guilty or more so or less so.

Next time just remove your account and ask support to get it back make same account name ,then blame the beer,and your friend or reval clan for makeing same name .Ether first letter will be changed or 1 added .Your name will be changed ...

Anyways question is how support works

My friend got a msg from support about wall hack that he never had ,he got mad at them for not true info and harrasing him with stuff like your account will be suspended

So we decided to test support
We got alot players to send support msg makeing up any reasons like ,useing bad words ,wall hack,sharing ,scammer ,hacking plat store ...
But its a good player never did those things ...
Sure enough in few days he get msg ,remove app reinstall it , will be bannded for hacking and many other things


So how does support "investigates" they don't all it like is if 1 person msges them its no attention
If 20+ msg them then looks legit ....

I don't think Support "investigates" so far as to dig up chat logs from archives that go ways back. If you're truly familiar with Game Tech Support, their intent is to resolve cases as fast as possible.
To think that someone really combs through hundreds of millions of chat lines looking for "proof" is highly unlikely.

I didn't do this because other people get away with other things; I never said what I did wasn't wrong. All I said was that what I did isn't against the terms of service,to my knowledge, and simply compared my situation to others who didn't get ban for stuff that is actually against the in-game rules. your right. Two wrongs dont make it right so why do they not ban the obvious cheater/hackers who can run through walls but they ban ailwen for desperately wanting a name change? Your words not mine. It was wrong to ban ailwen for lying and not banning sparticux for walking through walls. Guffy i get the feeling your one of the people on here who lift anyone with a red name up to god level for personal reasons. Be it to be a beta tester or maybe hoping to get a job with OTM. The truth is slapping you in the face and your denying it. If ailwen gets banned for 3 days for lying then anyone who can walk through walls and are known cheaters should be banned forever.

Hmmm for lieing ...
How many noobs try lieing on forums xfer all gear to friend and then post on forums i been "hacked" and stage a rage quit post .... Why they not getting bannded?
Or the people that scam and been reported many time (not just from reval clan )
Support just had a bad day and in the heat of moment they banded you lol

Back to the OP, if I may.

The ban does seem a little extreme simply because there is no evidence of intent. "Dersu" may very well mean something offensive in some language, but that wasn't the reason I chose the name. Someone creating the toon "DersuIzaBunghole," however, would be doing so with intent.

Anyway, will be good for a laugh in a couple days.

Far from it, I just call out people when I see it. You did something dumb and wrong, deal with it. I agree others should be banned for their misdeeds as well but it should have no factor on your individual case.

Also believe me support is far from perfect. But you got caught doing something dumb and got a small punishment, it coulda been worse.
