I got an amber spirit star from one a week ago. It walks in the room up the stairs north in catacombs from deaths caress leystone.

No you are right they drop them too - from the gold colored ones. I've only gotten the one skeleton so idk what else it drops.

Rarest mob ive seen... There are 2 in my head, the connacht boss that drops his armor type and King Frostbelly

Frostbelly (after event), askold (after event), ymir twice in two days (after event), prince corvax twice (after event), grimling (after event),connacht boss (after event), fenris the blue wolf 6 times (after event)
In my opinion every one of those bosses are the rarest things ive ever seen.

rarest thing ive ever seen was umm golden eye, skeletal soulwalker (twice in 5 mins), ythair the dragon at last years summer event - nobody could kill the thing was there for awhile, and some dragons/bears in this event
