I think rogue is second worst coming behind a ranger... im full dps rogue and i cant even get a mage or warrior my lvl to half health. As soon as I get a mage to half health im already dead. For a warrior, sure maybe id get to even 25% on them but all they need is shatter, rupture, and double attack and its game over... Rogues need better armour not the same paper armour as a ranger.
rogues demolish mages, rangers and druids are 50/50 not sure what ur build and gear are but thats what ive seen happening for me. As for the running post above i have no problem with running if its on foot but involve a speed mount this where it gets unfair. Since casters can have near max damage on a speed mount and run away to fast but melee classes have to use their weapons to get 90% of their damage.
For warriors the only reason a warrior seems op in combat is their hp not their armor if u dont believe this why would a mage and druid think a warrior is op when we have the same elemental resist as all other classes? Our armor only affects melee damage from rogues and rangers unless ur a melee caster. Besides that casters still do the same amount of damage on us as any other class but we naturally have a lot of hp as str becomes useless fast.
By looking at it this way one can actually say druids can be the most op class of them all by using max bark and picking a ward depending on their opponent this would give them the most resist to that type of damage out off all classes. if u are fighting a person who uses axe use ward of solder and max bark ur resist to slash ends up being higher then a full tank warriors resist use 2 dot skills and run around any warrior using slash would be destroyed. The same goes for when u fight rogues and rangers use ward of assassin now u take as less damage then a full tank would while dealing more damage then a warrior can. Of course u would need high vit but we can already see how a druid can be considered the most op class in pvp.
With this in mind we can also say mages are incredibly strong in pvp also start of with eshield cast freeze place ur lures and cast ur spells. At my lvl against equally geared mages i get hit for 3-7k ice shards 2-4k firebolts even a max tank will only have 10k hp unbuffed in full tank gear. The problem is in full tank gear warriors damage drops significantly making them little threat to a mage with a decent amount of hp.
For rogues even as a warrior i hate fighting them well only one rogue i hate fighting and that was BLRD, in beta he had a great pvp set up that i seriously hated making the fights 50/50. Aside from warrior vs rogue rogues can pretty much beat any other class of course against a druid with the build above or a mage above it can be more difficult but with instant cast skills and shadow strike un-resistable rogues are very strong.
for rangers well sadly they are pretty much screwed in pvp they can have incredible damage ik several with over 2k auto but because of how pvp is set up currently they will die against most opponents. Of course this doesnt mean they dont have any chance by using longshot bolas and entangle a ranger can have a pretty good standing against others. The main problem is that rogues shadow strike still works making bolas and longshot not so affective, mages and druids would use the range to their advantage casting skills, and finally a warrior would use shield wall to help last till the bolas and root affects are over.
So in the end each class can have a build for pvp that can be incredible but for warriors the difference is our incredible build is our natural build while others would be required to reskill and restat giving the illusion warriors are op.
