So you can only join as a new char and start from scratch but you can come visit us for a week or something if you want but you just can't use your lux or use plat items on our bosses .

And when 2 people hit level 40 we will set the in game timer, I am thinking 2-3 weeks for this one. And yes recruiting will freeze and a waiting list for next ladder will start.

Question, given that we use only earned gold what are we restricted from buying, or can we buy anything as long as we use only gold we earned. For instance what about new skill books like stinging swarm?

good question. What we are doing is you can only buy things with earned gold you could otherwise get yourself. So for skill books that dropped in sewers or cave for example you can't buy till we get to that zone.

I think we are allowing discontinued items so for example you could buy a yulestave from someone as long as you paid a fair market price for it since you could get yulestave in lirs.
