Re: Gear weight effects

Try playing an endgame warrior. Energy is a huge problem for tanks spamming taunt without a large pool to begin with. The energy loss they take fr the weight on their armor is much more critical than the energy makes and Druids lose from the small weight on their armor.
Therefore my suggestion, for melee classes take the weight difference from the hp instead Of energy.
No . We dont need this kind of debuff

I think any reduction because of gear weight is dumb. We're not playing a game of realism or movement speed would be reduced.

For those of you in favor of energy losses on casters or thinking 1500 energy is okay to take a loss from are not playing high level druids or mages. Even with A LOT of energy sigils and energy regen, if we're doing high level bosses I'm still having to use heroic energy regen and pots because of having to spam heal spells. Although i suppose I could drop group heal which wouldn't make the dps warriors and rogues happy.

My solution is do away with any penalties regardless of the amount of gear carried.

Maybe i explained that wrong

These changes would be instead of energy losses.

Weight of gear would effect each class differently. So energy wouldn't be part of warrior equation any more. It would be movement speed. Weight on a rogue would be weapon speed. Weight on a ranger would be weapon speed/movement speed less effect than warrior and rogues Tho).
