Over a year of camping Snorri, over thousands of $ spent collectively, and countless hours of camping said boss, and NOW you can just buy equivalent or better daggers in a shop for around 200-250k?

Wot???
Look on the bright side. Now you can repeat this process with Proteus (AKA the new Snorri).
Horizontal content too stronk

Do you even MMORPG??? There is ALWAYS going to be something better than previous gear with new updates. Just about every game does this, otherwise things become old, boring and pointless so people quit. If everything always has the same stats and nothing is ever better then how are you supposed to make the game progress and kill harder bosses? Warden used to be the best armour in the game and now it's junk and only used to get to the other quest items.
The whole point of this is why they make quest gear extremely hard to get if they're going to just sell it at a shop the following update.

"Become old" - We've sat at this boss for about half our in game time last update, it's no surprise people quit. And you're acting like people aren't quitting now with the way things are. It's remarkable.
So what, only players that are in a top clan can progress in a game? The quest armour is ALWAYS supposed to be the best? By that logic no store bought armour should ever be better than warden and that's absurd. There would have to be a line somewhere and that line makes no sense because then the solo players are SOL and they all quit so that eventually the game is left with newer players and a handful of players in the EG clans. Each quest armour should be the best for that update but just as there is better quest armour the following update there should be better store armour. Just because you have a better option of armour to buy at a shop doesn't mean you shouldn't do the quest armour or that it makes it useless because you still need to get it to get the best gear. Also btw the store armour isn't even that great and neither are the weapons... Lol I'm fairly certain I'm the only person on my server who has bought anything from the 200 shop and it was a club that I could use for casting rupture. I've yet to see anyone else with any of the weapons/armour. As for the dagger comp idk specific atk speeds but assume DL dagger is faster because you said off of haste and you're reffering to lock battles where Dl dagger would still be superior or even Necro dagger because they have proc damage...

I'd actually rather have quest gear accessible to everyone. If this were the case we would not need store bought gear, and gear on the account actually reflects the amount of work put into it. It also adds a load of doable horizontal content for everyone. Something like the alchemical armor quests is much more suited for a mobile game instead of the BS camp a boss for an entire month and kill it 5-15 times for 4/5 of the crowns that nobody really needs, just for all that hard work to be outdated by buyable gear next update.

There are two worlds I guess. The POV of the end-game clan and the POV of the not end-game clan. I'm guessing you're from the latter of the two.

Lol nope, definitely from eg clan POV, and as I mentioned before it DOES NOT MAKE IT USELESS or outdated because you still need it for EDL. I would prefer if everyone could obtain it too but that's not how it is in CH and I don't expect it to ever change because they would have to practically change the entire dynamic of the game/bosses. Take what you get and if you don't like it then I would say quit seeing as you seem to be from the 'inexperienced MMORPG POV'

I've actually played Runescape for 9 years and CH for nearly 3 years, FYI. In both games, whenever the players' hard work became devalued, the "elitists" would be pissed about it while casuals were in support of making the game easier. But in Runescape the devaluing was not of the same degree as it is in CH. We earned about ~8 purple crowns a month, sometimes less, sometimes more, for over a year and the next update, all of that becomes so much less than what it originally was.

If you are satisfied with how this is, that's completely fine as you are entitled to your own opinion.

Literally the only reason I play is for my clan, and a lot have already quit because it's the same pointless grind in every update. It's pretty funny how you're acting like people have to play L.

Jagex is a huge company. This means they can do whatever they want and be confident that they will still net a huge profit. They do not need to do anything that the players want.

OTM is a very small company. Yet recently they have been consistently playing the big company apple of mostly ignoring player feedback. You cant have the best of both worlds- if nothing changes, something is bound to go wrong.

Few recent examples:
Bandos to torva
Whip to chaotics
Chaotics to drys

You really think those players were happy their gear got crapped on? Because they weren't, I know I wasn't.
