Um no, if you get kicked from the clan for no reason at all your drops should stay with you
People also demote themselves and/or leave clans by accident. Or there may be some other reason why you need to leave clan temporarily (e.g. if you're powerleveling an alt and don't want to spam your clannies with logout/login messages).

This suggestion just opens up a whole new set of issues.
