i noticed we got 1 5* and 16 4* spawns since the update, are we just unlucky or 4* spawns really increased, but maybe too early to tell, will see some more spawns.

We got unox legit after reset then a b2b Unox legit after that so your def just unlucky

The solution needed is to eliminate camping. Not make crowns easy to get like moon discs.
With the amount of people playing now, and alts, crowns should be dropping way more often by not just Snorri 6 but from Snorri 5 and Sreng 5/6. This thing about "oh we worked hard for it and all the newcomers should wait another 10 years to get one," isn't the right mentality to have. A lot of people get dl weapons from being best friends with the gens/chief or kissing major arse to get them. (Based on reading forums and viewing how things work/hearing others opinions.) There's a ton of rogues without them and I can guarantee you that if you're not one or the other that I described above it ain't happening for you for a long time. Many people get geared up then stop playing and all of a sudden become "busy," which upsets a ton of people because many think they should be helping the rest get geared just as those unlucky ones helped getting them geared. This is on all servers unless there's some lucky server somewhere that basis their handouts based on how much work they do, rather than based on buddy buddy friendships and in the "clique" crowd. (This is not directed towards any specific clan either, so don't put words in my mouth.)

So for OTM to change the drop rates and times on Snorri and Sreng would help increase the chance for those unlucky individuals to actually get geared up in order to get edl rather than having a major bum kissing festival going on. Not just that, but Otherworld bosses, like pyrus, are easy to solo with two people, whereas Snorri/Sreng is not two man capable for the vast majority of people needing weapons and the competition is significantly ongoing. The time it takes for Snorri to spawn puts people off of camping it. Not many people bother camping it anymore either because they're geared out already or concerned moreso with edl. Thus OTM changing this would benefit those who aren't geared nor getting much help from those who already have weapons. This game eats up too much time sitting there starring at the walls for hours on end waiting for a freaking 4 star to spawn, which seems to be like 95% of Snorris spawns. Insanity.

Love the work OTM. 5min spawn windows are the way to go, even if you made the bosses due 5 mins before the previous latest spawn :lol: less camping is still a great thing :)
A fixed timer on Snorri, say every 2 hours already guarantees 12 spawns in a 24 hour period. Right now, the average seem to be 2:45 which is about 8-9 per day. Even if the spawn rate of 6* is still too low, a fixed timer is already a step in the right direction, and with no camping required, its a huge improvment to the game.

Bottom line is that this change should be extended to DL, Frozen, Meteoric and Warden bosses, as well as Raid Bosses and give them fixed 90 hour timers.
If they were to adjust Snorri to 5min spawn window like they have to EDL it would still be 8-9 spawns a day since Snorri would be due 140 mins from death (assuming they would do it the same way they have just done EDL)

DL weapons and armor are geared slow, and EDL armor and weapons seem like they are going at a good pace. The solution I would propose is to change the DL bosses/quests to mirror EDL.

Same spawn times, same types of drops coming from bosses, and add in two more bosses (DL has 6, EDL has 8).

By making the DL armor quest the same as the EDL quest, not only would it speed up the pace that we earn the drops, but it would make people fight Ulrob and the DL Wyvern. Right now, no one fights these bosses because we get everything we need from the other 4 bosses.

Here are the changes I propose that should be made to bring DL into line with EDL:

To save everyone the headache just have otm Mail everyone all the drops needed for the gear. Then we won't even have to play the game anymore and we can just stand around in the castle waiting to complain about something else.

What was the rationale of fixing edl before dl when dl was already the bottleneck and most were complaining about snorri?

Moreover with high levels not having to waste time camping edl, dl will be heavily camped by high levels for their alts.

I really don't see any logic here.

All servers will be restarted today in approx 30 minutes.

This restart brings the following:

- Update to Exalted Dragonlord Bosses which will reduce the randomness of their spawn timer from a large random window to a window of roughly five minutes, which should reduce the need to camp these spawn points.
- 48 Hour Giveaway to run Friday and Saturday
-1, it cant be so hard to reduce all bosses to this timer. Dl and event bosses should be fixed as well. If anything, these have priority over edl, because edl is the only content keeping end game players in this game. But from the past expansion (only affecting players 170+, mainly for those at 190) its quite obvious that otm is prioritizing (/kissing up?) to endgame players. If otm wants to retain new players and somehow convince them to spend a good four to five month (if they are really really active, willing to spend money, and willing to spend six to eight hours lixing a day) to hit endgame, they need to make the game much more appealing to the new players. Either add raid bosses availible to level 100, add new sets of gear (one track of gear is definatly not enough, and adding vendors who sell a full set of armour for 2m is not a solution), make a much easier way to level (either these bounty boards will level you up after an hour of doing quests (talking about the 180-200 range here) or we need a new, much more effective way to level. The gane is made to serve endgame, so endgame should be much more easily attainible. Ive spent three years in this game and im only 180, but i started order and chaos two weeks ago, and i have two endgame characters. (Nevermind the fact that i actually enjoyed getting to endgame, be ause there was a nice story line to follow.)

This games leveling system needs a serious rework, as do the amount of items, the boss diffuculty, the horizontal content, equipment slots, charector running speeds, and artwork (i mean seriosuly, i started this game on an ipod four which no longer works, and my ipad mini cant even play the game normaly. The game tells me my device cant support anything other then raid mode, which makes the game extremely boring and dull.

Ive seen the post about otm needing to advertise, and i highly disagree, because this game is in no shape to advertise untill major fixing has been done.
(Btw really dissapointed with admin saying that "simple bird animations" are being released in the summer. Is making an animation follow a character all otm has accomplished for companions? Couldnt otm do the same with the butterfly and pig

Like having multiple dl armours? Like a dps/hyb warrior set and a tank set. And also maybe more sorts of weapons like dl spear, h2h, axe, blunt so the endgame people have more choice of weapons

You arent thinking broadly enough^^ i dont want another set of dl armour for the warriors who would like to dps
I want a set of armour i can use for more fire damage, a set i can use for poison damage, a set to make MY SKILLS more powerful, not skills that no one uses. I want choices. If i am a warrior, id like a set of armour which provides more armour then usual with hp. If i am a dps armour, i want armour that provides strength and bonuses to bouble strike, pummel, and giant swing.
The fact that we only have one track of endgame armour which requires an endgame clan to get is quite dissapointing. There should be bosses like aggy that are easier to kill and drop regular items, and then rarer items with a lesser chance. These bosses should spawn every hour. There should be ten differant ones, focusing on differant items. With exact spawn times, players who arent in a clan have a chance to kill these bosses as well. This would bring more equipment into game, be ause the regular drops could be sold to lower levels, while the rarer drops would be kept. Its also an idea to make bosses or rare mobs (not rare like gold or exp mob, im talking a sane rarity, say 20%) who drop a new currency which can be exchanged for armour. And it doesnt have to take five weeks to get this armour. Perhaps two days (per item). This is adding side content to the game while expanding variety.

The game only offers leveling, standing in castle, or killing minor bosses (redbane, stonefang, so on..) for very minor amounts of gold (2k). Its a pathetic variety of things to do. Otm has to stop providing new leveling content to endgamers, and start providig more side content to everyone in game. Bosses dont have to be minor variotions of the endgame bosses (as event bosses work). There should be bosses who drop items for level 100s. That way the level 200s dont both, because they farm similair bosses (similair in idea, not drops) for level 170s with items meant for them. This starts providingg something for level 100s without them feeling that they have to reach 210 before starting to enjoy the game. I was hoping that the summer update would be the solution to this problem, but at the rate that we are going (i mean, come on... Simple bird animations? What is the bounty board? Five quests for level 50s untill the next update?...) the game wont be fixed untill 2020 rolls around. Please step it up otm.
