Is it necessary to have HP/E sigs on a mage? Do you need them for soloing?

Generally speaking, having sigils is important for all classes. Early on regen can handle it, but eventually you will burn energy fast, and mages are a prime example of burning energy. Dont skimp on sigils, that would just make it harder for you.

You don't need sigils for a mage. Energy boost can handle any regen problems and make it so you don't even need energy lixes. But if you use e boost you are using points that could be put elsewhere. Balance it out if it's worth it or not, I didnt use a single sigil til 170.

Yep. Meditate and bandage wounds/recoup work till around lvl 50 and lux regen items can work great up to 80 and ok until 120-150 max. You need to go all out with hard to get and very pricy regen for it to be barely acceptable past 150 it wont work very well you basically need sigils as a mage starting around 120. It's kind of sad but unless you have about 1k energy and 250 health sigils as a mage minimum by 170 you will find the game quite difficult.

You can use energy boost but it takes a whole lot of points where you can just buy sigil boxes off people but there isn't a half decent alternate option for health sigils.

Don't post if you don't know what you are talking about... Ranger is not close to worst dps. Do you even have a eg. Character loco?

i asked him and he claims to have had a 170+ ranger then deleted him... now he stays bellow lvl 100 pretending its the old days.

It really depends on the situation and the boss or mob in question. As for gearing on most worlds there are more rangers than mages making it easier to get mage equips. It varies by world.

And Btw , I Agree With Loco , Rangers Aren't That Good , Maybe In Armor Better Than Mages , That's It , In Lvling , You Have To Be In Group To Maximize The Xp , In Solo Rangers Are Bad , When Bolasing They Just Run Some Distance To Find Out Another Mob Waiting For Him , Then The Mob He Bolased Just Reaches To Him In 2 Secs And Kill Him , And Lose Lix Time , Mages Can Keep Up In Solo , They Can Use Energy Shield , They Dont' Run Out Of Energy Much , Their Damage Is Powerful.

If u think all this is right, y didnt u ask all of this in the first place. And overall mobs dont hit 5k with bolas you wont die not in 2 sec either. Mage solo is 10x worser than ranger solo not cause of exp but cause of the thousands pots u gonna use which is no problem for rangers lightheal ad Bolas
