He is saying 55 Dex will give him 10-20 dmg through the bonus to skills, that ss why he said AS A RANGER

For str however, it's effect on stats varies for each class. He may have got the two confused or like many players of the game just has no clue what the stats even do. You can't just assume that's what he meant, which is why I asked and said what I did.

Unless your just being a prick by the wording, this means at a boss if I get 55 extra Dex when I cast my skills I will have 10-20 more damage than usual and 60-70 more attack than usual

Nothing is wrong with the statement.

55 dex will give you 55 attack and 110 defence as a ranger, as any class. You're putting words in his mouth. No need for insults.

Would be the same as me saying 55 dex will give me 55 attack 300 defence and 40 damage as a rogue. Hoping for everyone to read an implication that I mean the poison weapon and fast reflexes increases.

As a ranger who uses steady aim* steady aim is dex based but I don't think the 55 dex will be a huge upgrade so I ballparked 10-15 attack

as inferior as my gear may be, I'm sure I could wipe the floor with anyone of your 5 toons.

You are welcome to try but Rangers are laughable in pvp and doubly so when poorly equipped

sounds like you are angry because you are losing. I find it funny when you need to ask others for help to kill despoiler, snorri or 5* event/tower bosses but somehow feel you are winning in overall power level.
