Prices bottom out hard during double plat, an are low during new events. Then no one buys plat for awhile, quite a while after double events, and prices climb. They will likely peak out on every world in the few weeks before the new event then drop like a stone.
True, hearing you say this I remember a guy selling combos 6k each during dbl plat.

Prices always jacked up leading up to double plat everyone's waiting to spend money. It will correct itself
