The way around spending lots of plat is to create multiple characters. You have one per account and load up on devices.

For example I now have 17 devices and this has let me level 8 toons to 165 using zero pots zero Lix and only a very few idols. I half afk them and if anyone dies I use spring to life instead of idols. I have multiple toons of each class so I never rebirth or alt. I have another batch of 6 rogues all 139 and climbing, again zero Lix pots or idols as I have tag along Druids.

You do have to spend some plat, direct or indirect, but I use the gold I save buying Lix and pots to buy sigils, Lux, etc.

Locking bosses you will still have to compete with plat buyers but it's easy to beat rage when everyone has many toons. My goal is to be able to solo the 215 6s edl by New Years.

Unlike plat if you tire of ch you can play other games on them (very popular in clash of clans) or even sell them on eBay to get most of your money back (Apple devices have excellent resale value, even if broken)

I've spent so little on plat I actually feel guilty and will be supporting OTM again next double plat event.

CH uses very little bandwidth like 8mb an hour or less. Maybe if you were on a very limited data cap you couldn't play many hours per month but any service should be able to play 20 devices at the same time. It's probably an issue with something else like your router.

I really only play on iOS not android. Although iPhone4, 4s and ipad2 still play the game the crashing and performance since the pet update makes me no longer recommend them. An exception is iphone 4s can still be bought in the USA and Canada for 30-50usd and are good for spies and half afk and can be used in raids or leveling in a pinch.

The best new device for the money is the ipod6 gen. You can get a base model for as cheap as 150-180usd in North America refurbished or better yet brand new for 170-200. They run the game very smooth but if you are really good at merching on eBay you could get 6 iPhone 4s for the price of 1 ipod6 at retail price.

Can I please get an OTM member to confirm Plus3 has 300+ toons as his signature says? I seriously, seriously doubt it.

Unless you just created multiple accounts just to show off with the signature (which hate to break it to you, doesn't make anyone jealous )

I never said to go into an Apple Store and buy 17 Ipad pro or iPhone 6s. I'm saying buying additional devices is far cheaper in the long run, even 1, than buying plat. I'm also saying you can beat rage on bosses this way instead of hasting or using more plat items. A second medium equipped dps toon and a medium equipped main dps with no hasted or lixed anyone is more dps than 1 fully decked out maxed out lixed out toon. Only for locking is a single powerhouse important and only if you have a full group. Dispersed dps across toons is easier to achieve and more effective in plat reduction.

Many people don't think twice about spending 100 usd or 200 usd on plat. If they bought 3 or 6 more devices they would be far ahead long term. Even just 1-2 decent devices they would be further ahead.

As a bonus you can get most of your money back after you have used your devices, even over extended periods of time.

Yes the majority of them are level 5 or less but I have many between 6 and 19 as well. I have one toon at every single item able to be picked up (haven't bothered moving the event items yet this event) including sewer chests and even fettles one toon at every boss or mini boss including 5 level 60 and one level 94 toon for ow bosses and many low level ones for faster farming of event mobs (slightly slower kills but no moving and fast logging). I was considering putting the 94 in the first tower level as a dog spy but it's not really needed.

I have a bank on every map so overfull characters can trade items and it keeps them organized as well. I also have many banks in the castle, each only holds a few kinds of items for simpli

Some toons are redundant because I used to use 2 per account but then switched to about 50 per account with the new engine came out for much faster logging. Now since this event you can turn off the bs intro and it's not much faster than seperate accounts again.

These are extremely valuable when coupled with a fast device as I can check so many bosses so quickly. Anyone can do this for free.

How the hell would you remember the usernames for the toons at the locations for example?

I know you can just add numbers to the end of a name but say you forgot to pick the present behind the castle, how would you, off the top of your head, login to that account?

That many toons is useless. I bet I could prove it mathematically that your efficiency is decreased by many folds when you just make multiple accounts and log then in rather than focusing on 1 toon for that specific task. 2 toons is ideal for me, 3 is dexterous, 200.. Like i said I'd cut by jewels right now if it were true.

I have an excel spreadsheet. I don't really need to remember exactly who is where just some start and end points. For example the sewer chests I remember the start toon and keep picking through the progression until I have enough or I'm at the last one. It's another reason why I like the 50 toons per account method, it's (now slightly) faster than individual accounts and no memorizing. I can pick up items about 2-5 times faster than someone on a 100 speed mount - the further they are spread out the more advantage.

That many toons for bosses is not useless. I solo 13 box the event 160 6s the other day in under 20 minutes no lix and not many idols. I did have my two alt alt Druids die once so I had to idol. I was multiboxing for years before CH came out, it's a learned skill and anyone can do it if you practice enough all the time. When the time comes and I've leveled I'll have no issues doing 2 full groups.

The removal of targeting other players helps a lot, it was more of a nightmare before that.

I regularly move all 5 mains around where it isn't too twisty like lirs, carrow, fingal. Tower is too twisty and I usually only do 2. But I've been getting better at 3 extra skill follows and it's actually not that bad to move a full group of 8. Occasionally one messes up due to lag.

Second I've actually killed 2 bosses simeltaneously before, I can actually work two full groups now that I've gotten the hang of it. Less moving is better but I've been able at Necro to heal the twnk on my Druid, pull bridge adds with my warrior, while also moving in and out to avoid aoe on my rogue and Mage. Str ranger mostly autos so it's easy.

For the beginner I recommend 1 and then work your way up. No one learned to play a guitar well in a day, the same is true for multiboxing.

Incorrect lol, 2 rogues geared with shop lux and medium equips will not beat a full edl/part doch rogue with edl weps poison set necro rings prot braces etc, no chance in hell of that ever happening.
