You realize there's several different strategies to playing this game depending on your clan, server, level, and number of clan members. Not every world is peaceful or even fair. The warcry helms would be used to grief rival clans on endgame bosses, same with calm and roots.

I honestly don't think the tiered necro rings are that bad. I'm using a mighty spear ring and i'm loving it, great for lower lvl players and #2 clans that can't neccesarly kill necro. Gotta think outside of the box when to comes to gear, some people may enjoy using some of those drops listed

If one can't kill Necro, one shouldn't be wearing Necro gear imo. At least earn them.
Bosses should drop loot appropriate to the level of the people killing them. I still wonder why OTM stuck to this model, it's really MMO design newbiness. I still remember the level 130 Samhain boss that dropped level 90 rings, there is no logic for it to drop items for characters 40 levels below.

In other games like O&C, good boss loot are Bind on Pickup. That means if you weren't there to kill the boss, you can't use its drops.

Jalan storm ring (I use the set) and 2 eldritch rings of valour. I'm planning on swapping the Jalan storm ring for the vit/str 190 lux ring from this event when I hit 190.

Congrats. Thats the dummest thing iv heard all day. If your vlan cant kill necro then you shoildnt have necro drops. If tey could kill it then maybe you would understand why what you just said is so stupid

Whats so stupid about that? So what if my clan finds these rings useful, everyone has a different playing style. Remember, there are other people out there that don't have the ability to kill every necro that spawns and are willing to pay whatever for a necro ring of any type that pops up in the black market

This gets a bit out of subject, but you bought that ring from a member that left a clan which could kill Necro. So you didnt do anything for that ring. Now think about Independent being able to kill Necro: you guys set up a date and time, then get around 20ish people online and kill it. You can get Rings up to Godly, but instead you get 2 Grand Rings. Would you still be happy? More importantly, you guys start to kill Necro 3 times a week and still get Grand/Mighty Rings instead of Royal+, would you still be happy?

Now back on subject and the discussion I wanted to have: what could OTM do to make things better?

What about a melee combat or cunning ring, would you still use that?

I know a rogue actually looking to buy a cunning ring atm and if I were to break my Jalan Storm set bonus then I would replace the Jalan ring with a melee combat ring until I got myself a lux ring, then I would hand the drop to the bank.

I honestly don't care if I earned it or not, all I care about is that it boosts my damage and attack and I was lucky enough to find a seller... I also bought my Royal necro pummel brace from the same seller.
