Tokens are a broken system right now. I feel bad for anyone that accidentally uses there token to get a combo.

I think tokens need to be exchangeable both ways.
The Tokens from the Bounty Vendor are not broken, there are certain rarer Tokens by design which allows us to control how many items come into the game.

The system has only been in since the start of the Spring Event. We are constantly reading player feedback, checking stats and seeing how well the system is performing, which means that if we find things that can be improved on they can be tweaked and changed in future updates.

Just a quick straight forward question that I hope you will answer with an honest, straight forward answer.

Based on feedback and observation since the event has been out, do you guys feel changes should be made in the token system? If so, what? Thanks.

If otm feels the bounty tokens aren't broken, just some are rarer than others, then please make them tradable, because I'm so done hoping to collect enuff purples to complete my lvl 6 tier 4 pet. I'd much rather just pass any purples I get onto my daughter and let her lvl her tier 1 pet up to lvl 6.
What otm sees as unbroken, players surely won't agree.
Shoot, we can't even complete the fashion without purples, so what's the point?

Rare is one thing, these purple tokens seem unobtainable.
So otm wants to control how many items comes into the game?? I think that statement alone just made me realize I'm just about finished with this game.
So essentially, you are telling us what we can and can't have? You're telling us we can have what ever we want if we buy plat. But we can't have a lvl 6 tier 4 pet, because otm don't want us to have it???? Because you choose what comes into the game?
Dexxa, I sure hope you didn't mean your remark the way I read it, because I just lost a whole lot of respect for otm by that one statement alone.
If you get to pick and choose what comes into the game when it should be randomized, tells me otm has been holding out on us since day 1. All those fights hoping for a nice drop, now I see why they don't fall.... Otm chooses for them not to fall.....

He means broken in the sense that the mechanic was broken from the start.

And thanks for finally coming into the light Dexxa! Haven't seen your face in months!

And please do fix the bounty system. I've done almost 6 bountys every day since start and 2per day for about a week on my other toon. My alt is the only one that's gotten a purple so far. And I have yet to see a green.

I don't even know what feedback they are waiting for. it's immediately obvious that the rate of purple tokens are insanely low, to rely solely on bounties to max a pet will literally take years.

As I've said before, 3 months of daily bounty grinding should be enough to get a free max top tier pet. It'll take casual players 3-4x as long so it's not that easy. And what's the issue of flooding the servers with pets? They're no trade anyway.

I've gotten one purple token. I have religiously done 6 bounties every day since the beginning of the event. I really wanted the max level bounty fashion but I dont think it's even possible with the drop rates so low.

Hey Ferron. Unfortunately I can't give an answer at the moment because we haven't arrived at a decision. Obviously from player feedback on the forums we can see that players feel the Purple Tokens are too rare. As I said earlier, we made these Tokens rarer in order to control the time it took to gain certain items. For example we wanted the higher Tiers of fashion items to take longer to obtain in order for it to stay as a longer term reward, rather than something anybody could get in a few weeks.

We will continue to look at the system as it works across the whole game and see what changes need to be made. May I just emphasize the point that just because something is rare and harder to obtain, does not mean that it's broken.

Actually, it does in our terminology.
For something to be "broken", it's a broken mechanic. The mechanic does not work good, therefore it is broken.
