Crom has some pretty cool people but its becoming a ghost town. I reccommend you Arawn and Morrigan if your a competitive gamer. Arawn has really high prices on rare items, fash and plat items are selling at normal prices atm. Xps 3k each. Chests 20-25k each. Combos 8-10k. Hastes 3k each. Sigils are 6-8k each. Not much drama here as far as i have seen and i have enjoyed my time since i came here. Beware i may be a little biased.

Some drama on Arawn as we do have a few clans that can kill some of the bosses so there is comp...but it's not generally too bad. You have a choice of a few that can kill ow bosses and some dl and lower events, one that does Aggy and hrung as eg, events, and almost all edl bosses, and the one big clan that can kill everything including gele.

Agree with Arawn and Gwydion, also play Taranis which I like too. Just left Rose....not a good place atm. Its a ghost town, very very low activity rate and unless it turns around its "one clan for the server" it will die.

Taranis is a total **** show lol

Taranis is a good place with fairly active plat supplies.

There are some people that seem to know more about it then me. I am a firm believer they are probably still trying to get past the new zone. Once they reach the castle I am sure they will become enlightened.

So what would be the best server for someone that was looking for

Enjoyment in a dominant clan

Gear earned through boss attendance, not rolls

Fashion not over priced

Able to get older fashions

No lix disruption based on a clan tag above your head

Fairly peaceful server

Gwydion is everything except the bolded. Fashion is overrated anyways and shouldn't be your dominant factor in deciding a world.

@ OP - If you are still looking for a server, I would suggest at least checking out Rosmerta. It has always been a good "home" for me, and has gone through a lot of changes recently.

There have been a couple of low-to-mid level clans gaining some traction lately. Currently, there is one dominant EG clan; however, there is a core group of high level/long time players in another clan and they are quite capable of EG bossing. The server has a lot of toons that have been playing for a long time - some have left, but some have also returned.

As with any server, you have to take the good with the bad. There are negatives - minimizing your time in the castle will help reduce some of said negatives. As with anything, there will be some drama, people that are inherently antagonistic, and varying degrees of personal conflict. I feel it is fairly minimal in Rosmerta - especially if you make a conscious effort to avoid those people/things.

Again, I would suggest, at a the very least, come check it out. Make a toon, get to lvl 50, and determine for yourself. If you decide to come, shoot me a note - I'll give you a couple lix and/or some noob gear to help you get started.

There is another eg clan on Rose besides Forever (use the term EG loosely)......it has about 10 or so people (my alt is in the clan). Not able to kill much beyond any 5 star for a variety of reasons. If u like a one server clan...meh...maybe this is for u. However if u find u don't end up liking clan forever....u will have wasted ur time.

Morrigan is excruciatingly dead. Just got an iPad off of eBay and decided to visit my old stomping ground. Wow. Kinda sad how dead it has become. Was bored one day and leveled a player to around 25 or so until regen issues started to aggrevate me, but in Lirs Reach ... There's just nobody around. I'm sure in higher level areas is probably more populated, but it's a huge warning sign when the newcomer areas are dead. Maybe stonevale is better, couldn't reach there yet, but I wouldn't be too optimistic. A huge difference from back when I played there.

Took a look at Epona too, for craps and giggles. More populated then Morrigon as far as Lirs reach and castle, but it seems like it could be a top heavy server. Saw mostly high levels running around and in castle. Again, didn't reach stonevale and higher lvl areas, but I wouldn't feel comfortable , if I were you, in spending any plat on either of these servers, although Epona would seem WAYY better then Morrigan at the moment.

By the way, before all the high level players tell me how awesome these servers are and how populated they are ... I judge a servers health NOT by how many high level players are on it, but how many lower level players are playing and the rate of new player influx. I believe this is the real signs of the health of a server.

Perhaps this doesn't matter as much if you are going to just power level a toon, but I wouldn't feel comfortable spending any money in either of these servers from what I've seen.
