Why on earth would I ever pay 7m for a ring that was 750k sadly reaper rings will eventually reach that price if something isn't done.

If you were in Gwydion 7mill wouldnt even be close to enough for a reaper ring. Try 12-15mill

People are lucky OTM haven't introduced a stronger version of the reaper ring yet, which I'm sure would infuriate people more than if they just brought the reaper rings back.

Luxury items logically must become stronger over time, to entice players to buy them, so bringing back the old ones isn't really an issue IMO.

(I do own a reaper ring also, if that matters.)

This game is turning into the true definition of a "pay to win" because of these insane prices that us the players did, not OTM, us. Creating new temporary lux is a terrible way to handle the situation, because OTM will soon run out of ideas and start making repeats and I can see a few issues with that. This game has enough lux from the past and present, and most of that past lux is pretty decent so why not put it back in the game? You have all these people fighting to bring old event lux back so everyone has a fair chance at obtaining it and then there's the few rich guys that are pretty much saying "f*ck all of you, we needz more gold and that can't happen if they bring back past event lux".

If they were to release all the old event lux, I wonder how long before players started demanding all the old fashion like hunter and party hats and frostguard, etc be released again because it's just not fair that those greedy, rich jerks get to have all the cool fashions and just want to oppress all the not so rich people.

I say yes to the event lux coming back because event lux can significantly help ones ability to reach endgame when compared to regular shop lux like an earth tali. Another reason why is because event lux is originally purchased through a vendor with ingame gold, whereas fashion or mounts come from chests which was originally purchased with plat. I believe anything that came from a vendor should be put back into the game but everything that came from chests/plat should remain temporary.

Sunlit was chest fashion that stuck around after Beltane 2013. Not sure why OTM chose to do that.. And let's not forget that there are 10 or so Mounts Available at the Vendor every Event.

Otherwise you'd have no issue with OTM releasing similar Lux and not just rereleasing previous ones.

Lol, pretty much everyone fighting to bring back old event lux wants a reaper ring or something else from the past. I honestly don't "need" a reaper ring as I'm looking into creating a hybrid build soon and there's a few past event lux items that would certainly help that build such as a wyldshrine ammy of the mountain. Now I should NOT have to pay millions for this ammy just so I can get my build just right.

I know you weren't around when Wyld ammys were available or you didn't buy one, but THAT was the chance to have paid a lower price for them. Now you DO have to pay millions to "get your build just right."

You can't justify things by saying things like "I shouldn't have to pay millions to get my build just right.", because that's selfish. You would piss off a bunch of other players just to please another bunch? The people who bought the old Lux have done nothing wrong, but people get upset with them for either NOT selling or selling "Overpriced".

If someone wants a Common Chicken from me and I'd only sell for 1m then they can either pay my price or piss off. It's my Common Chicken and I'll price it however the hell I want. People can say what they like but I'm not letting go of that Chicken for anything less than 1m. That's how things of value work in CH, you know that.

We ALL have to pay up the ass for Reaper and Wyld ammys, it's just some of us decide that it's better to take the initiative and get what we want instead of sitting around hoping one day it'll be handed to us on a silver platter.

I payed about double what was worth my Purple Woad and Glenmor just cos I wanted it. It's Fashion, it doesn't benefit me in any way other than to bring me some happiness when I look at my toon. I payed way more than it was worth but I was still happy because I got what I wanted. You can ALWAYS make more gold, so it's better just to start saving, buy a Reaper ring and Wyld ammy and then join the club of people who don't want to see them return

You don't need the best lux to hit endgame, you don't even need any event lux to hit endgame. Hitting endgame is already simple enough, only time is pretty much needed(lixes help but that's another topic)

A lot of players that can afford said lux buy plat(some don't, I myself am an exception). Its not like I would be banished from owning it if it was plat only though. Using the mount example, I could go up to someone and buy an 80% chest mount for 200k or less on lugh. To further prove it, I own a 100% mount and full white frost breath auroral fashion, while being non plat. Trading is possible with plat players.

Thats kinda biased. Neither should be back, and both have equal reasoning not to be.

Plus. This event info guy says only for ostara for lux, and previous events I'm pretty sure even had the year in the info. I guess it didnt sound celtic enough and sounded more like a game so they removed it I'm assuming.

^ that's how you sound, ghostyblaze15. And you're right, nobody is forcing you to buy one. If you want to have the perfect build expect to pay a lot. If you don't, find a lower cost alternative. Endgame players (I don't mean lvl 180s lol) want to have the perfect build as well, and this often entails full dg armor and 6+ godly drops that each come once every few years per world, shared among dozens of players. But you're right, life is so unfair because YOU can't have the "perfect" build. If you weren't too busy trolling forums all day, you could have saved enough money to buy a wyld mountain

Ferrari is like fashion in this game, you buy it for the looks, not performance. I sound like someone that wants a fair chance to receive these items. Godly raid gear and event lux are totally different things that work differently m8. You guys are saying I'm the greedy one all because I want to buy these lux items for an appropriate price? Lol, your the ones that don't want these items to come back because you want them to remain at an extremely high price so you all can make profit. It's like your saying "I paid 6m for a reaper ring, and so do all of you", sounds pretty greedy to me. I don't have a Reaper OR Wyld ammy. "Appropriate Price" is whatever the seller feels like selling tbh. For me, the "Appropriate Price" for an Event Chest is 15k, but they sell for 25k. There is no "Appropriate Price" when it comes to people reselling items, it all depends on the person and what they feel the price should be.

GB, dude, Zyz and I have mentioned multiple times that OTM could (and should) just make similar NEW Lux. But you just really REALLY are set on getting a Reaper ring. You, and others, go NUTS for Reaper Rings and Wyld Ammys and then complain about the prices instead of SAVING and BUYING one. There is absolutely noooo sense in that man.. I'm begging you to see where we're all coming from, I mean my goodness.

So you don't want OTM to release any new Lux? You'd rather they rehash all the old stuff for years and years to come? They would never do that, it'd be a detriment to the company.

If you don't want to pay the 3m+ for a Reaper then either wait until OTM releases a NEW similar item or never buy one.. Simple as that, no need to make it hard.
