I wouldn't say the game is dead; I think of it as being on life support. Various fashion outfits can only hold the crowds for so long. The next few updates may either be its lifesaver or the final nail in the coffin. I think an Auction House is akin to Obiwan kinobi in this game, because its the only hope.

I honestly don't think an auction house will do the job as it's just another method of selling/buying items (a much better one), doesn't actually help gameplay it's self unless if you're a full time collector. New raids, zones and well written quests is what will keep this game alive and active, as well as side activities such as crafting (I want crafting so bad)
