You'll never be able to upgrade armor then. This whole game is weeks and months of camping for your gear. It took me 117 trips to coppinger before I got all my mind tabs. That's a bit on the extreme side but it's not far off from what most players go through for various armor or weapon pieces. So if you're that upset over a few days of camping then this is going to be a miserable game for you.

And fingal (thats my server i play on btw)is competitive with mind tabs and then frozen. A clan can help with the items but it's still going to depend on your willingness to camp.

There are 8 possible coppinger spawns 1 will drop one met item and the main drops 3. There are 15 posible met drops from coppinger. The odds of getting a spawn that drops and then getting the drop you want is very slim.
