I like the idea of a campfire. It can even be upgradeable!

Hear me out...
Level 1, only you can use it
Level 2, members of your group can use it too,
Level 3, members of your clan can use it.

It also grows in size drastically, the level 1 is a small one, level 2 is large, level 3 is a massive bonfire!

(Upgrades come about by using it. If you cook 250 items on it, it turns to level 2, 500 total items turns it to level 3.

Oh ya +1, anything that makes cooking even cooler.

Although they would have to give portable cooking a disadvantage (non plat related) like having it take extra time to cook something up, cause realistically cooking over fire takes longer than cooking with an oven. This would still give the ovens some meaning

Mehhhhhhhh idk about that one. I like my steak grilled more so than stove top, but the time it takes to cook em are about the same. Stove top may actually be faster

Cook a steak from frozen! It'll be one of the best steaks you ever have.

I like the idea of campfires, even they are still a bit limited. When I started playing, I kept noticing these areas that look appropriate for setting fires. It seems only natural that these areas could be used for campfire cooking as well.

Could we make existing fires cook things too? (ex: campfires in shalemont, fingals, carrow, in OW by frozen quests, etc.)
This would be as much a fun game-mechanic as a convenience.
( would give people something to do between frozen timers as the tower ley is already an unofficial congregating point.)
