Heard epona just had a BT raid and failed to kill it with 60 plus toons, what went wrong?

Only had 1 root tank who tried tanking both. The second tank lagged the whole raid. Raid failed by one internet connection

BT raid rn is a pure numbers game. It relies solely on pure luck and wether a clan is busy on a certain day or not. I know for a fact that NO server or clan and i mean NOONE will be killing BT consistently yet, and by that i mean on spawn like gele and very smoothly, not untill the right strategy is found (unless it turns out t8 offhand actually decreases raid numbers)

Good job nevertheless the less to you Epona, and all other servers that are trying to down this beest. And grats on the current kills

actually think it’s 5 kills now and even today with 1 root tank for the whole raid wiped at 5%. Also had that issue where roots at t4 and all die then 1 root spawns and puts it up to t5 a few times. Atm BT is much more about luck and numbers than anything else until some server manages to solve the strat OTM made that will supposedly make it a 40-50 toon raid

We failed at 5% because our root tank crashed and couldn't get back on the last 5 minutes, causing the roots to jump back and forth and wipe all dps. This allowed Voltroot to get far into t4 (two spawned back to back, so toons by the second were heavily cursed). When we finally got Voltroot down we only had a 30s window to attack boss and then blazeroot respawned and it ended the raid. Our normal setup is 2 root tanks to prevent something like that from happening, but our add grp said they were ready with one, which cost the raid for the day. If I had known about it it wouldn't have happened, so I partially blame myself but whatcha gonna do

The fact that smelly continues to remain a member and represent resurgence is beyond me and has made me lose complete respect for a clan such as this. Quite pitiful
