Aggragoth drops tridents, this item helps make the tridents more useable especially for those who haven't trained up spear just yet, so overall it's the perfect drop to complement his other loots.

Admin, I understand your good intentions in trying to make the trident more worthy. But you have to factor in the fact that 99% of rangers dont use tridents simply becoz frequently use skills such as sharp shoot and barb shoot are not equipable when rangers equip spears. If you really want to encourage rangers to start using spears or tridents, you have to reshape the exisiting skill tree for them. This is the only way it will work?

Quite frankly, tho I might use an aggy trident for the novelty of it, why would I want to use a spear? Then I would have to be close and get hit a lot more. We are allowed spear nd Knicks, but not designed for them.

I suppose if u are using entangle, spikes, and rapid- then spear may work. But otm should make steady, sharp, and barbed work for spear.

As for bracelet, maybe make it 150 for both bow and spear. An all class spear drop should have a str bonus I would think.

As a ranger, I do live the heal and dex tho. 250 bows would be nice, but I am pretty happy with bracelet.

For the 20th time, please find a ranger that even uses a spear.

If i see a ranger using spear in my clan, i would point, laugh, and then seriously consider if i want him in my clan anymore, lol.

Our main point is that everyone that HAS this item, has received a worthless 250 spear skill modifier that sits there and does nothing......just like bad skills, the rings that have bad skills, the "rare" mob drops, and the defector weapons.

Let me get this straight:

Agg drops this bracelet for RANGERS that have always wanted to use spear but didnt, and happen to "come across" a previous aggragoth trident drop that finally made them want to train it?

This is what you seem to be implying, which sounds like the answer my little nephew would make up because he doesnt have any answer at all. Its ludicrous.

I dropped it . I gave up. I got a box of Kleenex blew my nose , wiped up my tears from all my crying and complaining, and I let it go.

But now this ..... Admin the fact that you used the word PERFECT to describe this bracelet is utter nonsense .

Real conversation with admin in game :

Elim : hi admin , nice job on level 400, can I ask a question ?
Admin: sure , what's up ?
Elim : I got this awesome Aggy drop but it doesn't seem to make sense ... The vagrant's bracelet of dexterity .
Admin : congrats! What doesn't make sense ?
Elim : it has light heal and dex , those are great for ranger but it has spear , no real rangers use spear.
Admin : it has spear skill and not bow skill because that item is not class specific, you can use with other classes.
Elim : ok thanks admin , that still doesn't make sense but it's a decent explanation .


Couple patches later , not in patch notes but in the sneaky little " various bug fixes and improvements" vagrants bracelet is changed so it is now class specific . Obviously this makes admins answer to my initial question completely false, and that's fine things change .

But dont act like this was your plan all along , this item is broken , that being said it is still my favorite item I have .

Admin , before making more big time loot for whatever new bosses are planned , or possibly adding new loot to Aggy , please do not make randomly generated items . Take the time to have someone check the items that are being produced and put in loot tables. Possibly someone who plays the game and has a real understanding of what equipment is used and not used, this problem is not limited to ranger charms , it's the same with all class bracelets .

The loot maker is the real issue. Theres no possible way the "loot maker" guy plays this game, or it is as stated earlier made with a Random generator of various stats and skills

The reason it's ranger only is because it has a light heal skill on it, rangers warriors and rogues can use spears, but only rangers can use light heal, so therefore it seems logical that it's a ranger item if it gives a skill boost that only rangers have. If it was a different skill lets say 'sneak attack' then it would have been a rogue item etc..

No ranger USES a spear.

Why the item from last boss that has stats noone uses?

Another example: spring if life staff from aggy..........plus 5 of a skill noone uses, with benefit of 250 staff skill that noone uses. Please explain.

Im sorry but your answers skate around the questions. Why have a spear skill mod on a ranger item? And dont say cuz a ranger CAN use a spear. If thats your logic, why not make a warrior bracelet with plus staff skill also?
