This game has too many different types of rare items for things like candles and such to ever become valuable in my opinion. There are probably around 100 discontinued items.

What do you think the single most expensive (rare) item in the game is?

Ruby xp necklace

ruby exp is undoubtably the most expencive. Duc.. How much would it take to buy yours?

Top 5 most expencive items IMO are-
1- ruby exp amulet
2- ability amulet
3- broom of doom
4- full DF
5- conach sets -
vanquisher- 450k-550k
Pathfinder-450k-600k
Mageous- 400k-500k

In Danu broom of doom or DF set is most expensive followed by te ruby necks, followed by connachtat sets, war set being the most.

You know how the game changes so dramatically when a new update comes... Well I'm hoping when skills are released and I have tons of rich noobs to sell " rare " items too then I will sell them off. And when I sell 10-20 for 100k- 500k each.. Idk how much money people will be having in the next few years but after they spend that much on an item like this there is no way they will sell it for less, thus starting the snowball... Idk I have a unique plan in which is complex. I don't believe without some strategic planning on my part these items may never be valuable and be lost for forever.

It's my honest belief that these items should be rare. Here is why I believe this.
Despite their uselessness, they where created on the first event and VERY few of the item exist in the game now.
I ESPECIALLY think that pumpleroot hearts should be very valuable. I consider them the " Christmas cracker " of CH.
Yes I know this is CH, not RS. Not trying to make it into rs... Just trying to see my items at a high value.

I was the guy who suggested the event, so I know all about all the events.
But if you where playing during the release of the holloween event you will know that pumpkins, candles, etc that stuff was tradable. Then when the Christmas event rolled around. Well... The snowmen and christmas presents are UNtradable.
I don't consider things after the Christmas event rare items... So the other green presents that where dropped are not very valuable in my opinion.

I know what you mean but another reason why rares became so valuable in RS is because for the longest time players had tons of gold and nothing that cost much money. There wasn't any decent stat equipable items in RS for years which is one reason why rares were able to flourish and sky rocket there. A lot of MMO's don't have this aspect so much and money is genereally spent on items with an actual use.

I laughed too but maybe the person who quit had 2? There were 3 active brooms on danu, and Z quit or at least is inactive and now there is only one active broom on Danu.

There are no ruby xp pendants in herne so technically it cant be the most valuable item.

What about when skills are released and players have maxed characters. I'm talking about when people join in a year and then spend another year maxing their character and getting tons of gold. And then they hear about there only being like 10 or so items in the game. They will want the item so they can show it off. I honestly don't plan on selling any of my items until maybe 3 -5 years from now.

None of infinity's top 5 are in play in beleneus except connhact sets.

Therefore the most expensive item is white carpet or camo charm.

I bought my broom of doom for 350k just before update... Wouldnt sell it for all the gold in belenus
