I mirror the sentiments of those that dislike the inventory issues, such as lack of inventory sorting features and too many items that look exactly the same. It makes inventory management an enormous hassle.

My other dislike regarding the game in general is the length of time between new content releases, or insufficient amount of content in each release to keep ahead of player base. Each time an update is delivered, players are excited to play through new quests, new mobs, etc. Many that play the most achieve the perceived level-cap or content completion and inevitably get bored, drop off, and never make it back for the next update. There are only so many different alt
classes we can create before we run out of incentive to keep going. Save the long-timers!

#1. As a fairly new player lvl 60 now, I found the early levels lackluster and difficult. There is a lack of info to be found about the game: guides, what drops which loot, game mechanics, etc.. Include your beginning players in the game, how about a low level boss or low level lux shop, the game is not very attractive to anyone giving it a try for the first time, its only until much much later that it gets fun.
# 2.No Auction house ( I know this is being worked on).
#3. Lack of appropriate loot. Loot is not equal level to the mobs that drop it. Loot gaps, for example I have not had a single shield drop in stonevale. Most of all of the Connacht mobs carry shields, but not one drops them as loot?
#4. I would like to have a quest item tab in the inventory. We collect so many quest items sometimes that it clutters up the inventory.

THERE IS NO AUCTION HOUSE!

It would free up a lot of inventory, provide more gold, better loot available to lower levels, assist with quest completion, increase actual play time and generally add to everyone's game experience to have an auction house where players can post their items to sell.

One that covers all servers like Runescape would be ideal and help balance economies.

I can't prove it, but I think it would encourage people to buy more plat because it would deepen their commitment to the game.

Please add an auction house!

I have a problem with players who think they own the game. I also would like it to be new player friendly, I mean not everyone knew the awesomeness of this game when it first came out. Don't just leave the newer players in the dust. OTM needs to just cater to the game not the ones who have played the longest.

I have to disagree with everyone. Not that the points are not valid but they dont really match the caliber of the question.

Let me rephrase it another way.

What about the game has made you want to quit?

Have you ever wanted to quit because of the loot tables or the inventory system? I think not. What makes you want to quit?

The grind
The ksing drama

The biggest problem, the reason people will quit playing is the lack of any noticeable progress after hours of playing. Admin and mdmarco can argue about if it's linear vs slopes of xp curves all day and it does not change the fact that it is unreasonable to solo mobs your level for 8 hours and not get a level, regardless of how high you are. (that would be two on lix for the plat crowd)

Sorry but Disliking a Portion of the game, doesn't necessarily equate to wanting to quit the Whole game... You seem to be looking at extremes here.

Anyway, what I dislike most about the game - tho not something that has even suggested I should quit, is the number of available mobs at (so far) most levels to L80, and from what I hear, other, higher levels.

Except for the quest mobs, I'm not sure there is ANY L64 mob in the game. There are TWO L65 (one from each end of the path going into the open area of SV). There are TWO L66 and TWO L67 lol. These are not even extreme examples but almost the norm. There are THREE L80* Red Eyes in OW. The rest are L81*-84*** (yea, about 3 - 4 of each depending on spawn cycling lol). There are, about 14 - 16 Red Eyes in total, Including spawn of that L85****. Again, Norm of the game so far.

I love the potential this game has. However the game mechanics and user interface have exhausted me to the point of wanting to quit.

-Zoom too close up, should be zoomed out so i dont have to go crosseyed to see where im going, and targetting is impossible being such a close up view of your surroundings

-Having to go to your menu when you wish to switch up your equipment, there should be an option to switch equip from your hotbar. It would be in perfect correlation with macros in plenty of other MMORPGs

-Damage done to mobs is hard to see and 3/4 of the bosses the dmg doesnt even show up. Zooming the screen out more would solve this problem as well

-Lvl grinding is alrite, but damn wtf you require high dmg charms to acheive anything within a reasonable time, and you needto know this games stat system 100% or you'll end up spending all the gold you could spend on lux items, which you again require to be able to level at a reasonable pace, on rebirths and alteration books. There should be more information about the mobs weaknesses or strengths somewhere on a wiki. either that or just tell us how much dmg actually effects the mob your fighting, in a separate wiki and tell us the ratio of how much dmg is multiplied with this dmg etc. give us somethin to work with

-Inventory is hard enough to scroll through to find an item since its a tiny ass bar on the right hand side of the inventory box, why not sort these items automatically according to type of item and do what eliminator said, make it so u can tap the spot u wish to move an item, rather than playing leap frog xD

-I dont even bother with upgrade armor anymore, its a waste of Idols and gold to kill a 6 star boss unless you have a solid tank warrior and druid(s). possibly make a quest to obtain idols. i mean what is the one idol that you get from the quests in shalemont going to do for someone and its not repeatable. What happens when people stop selling their idols when they buy platinum and the new players stop buying platinum because they have plenty of gold.... its not like the real world economy when where theres a need theres a product out there to suit your needs. idols should be obtainable by a repeatable quest... and should give you just a single idol per time completed to keep it so you guys can still make money on platinum bought for idols.

-cant see how much experience till next lvl, its all based on assumptions by looking at the proportion and sub proportions of two bars in your menu. put some numbers in there, i mean whats a couple more numbers going to hurt the game... cause that was admins excuse a few weeks ago, they didnt want to put more numbers in there they felt as though it would overwhelm players -.-

-No Transfer System: this should be at the top of my list why i would want to quit this game, however i do have friends i can count on for transfers so its not a huge deal but its a big deal when i hear one of my friends got scammed 500k by a person he thought he could rely on for a transfer.... and im constantly getting items that i could give to an aspiring CH newbie player, but i have to drop them because i dont have so much room as to hold on to it, i have other stuff in my inventory like bound rings and whatnot clogging it up...

-New content being released up to lvl 180 and theres still no dragon armor, and lvl 180 is going to be released probably at the same time as well as a transfer system thats been in the works for the past 10 months. i gotta tell ya one thing, that transfer system better not be flawed one bit or the player base is gonna shrink fast

Thats all that comes to mind at the moment, maybe ill post some other stuff later on. right now im gonna go level up my ranger that i just rebirthed and finally found the perfect stat build for soloing fast and steady. leave feed back on this guys

What has made me want to quit ch?

Actually it is the loot tables. As i stated earlier, ive played game since release and there hasnt been one drop in my 12 months of playing that was useable from the mob that dropped it ---and this is ultra rare loot were talking, that you might never see even killing the mobs for days on end!

Flame wand from a lvl 140 named red horse? If i COULD SELL IT. It would be worth SOMETHING.

The fact is, if i woulsnt use it on my mage, noone else is gonna even buy it (unless it had a lvl 1 requirement which it doesnt).

Defector weapons --- same story. They suck so bad not one person uses for fighting. And thats IF u r "lucky" to make boss spawn, get the kill, AND GET THE RARE LOOT. Thats like rolling a yahtzee and your prize is worthless!

I think there just needs to be a greater variety of things at different stages of your level. Aileron touched on this point pretty well.

In SV you have a bunch of level 60s crowding around falg because there's not much else to do. Pepper in some different level bosses for them in Lirs, SV, Shale, and the new underground world you are creating. Let them get level appropriate items and not have to beg their way up the ladder. A GREAT idea will be in one of the new low level underground areas, make a rare boss like Falgren spawn very far from the leystone. This way high levels won't just camp it all the time cuz it will be a chore for them to get there all the time for a wep they can't really use. This will add much balance. Now when noobs ask me for advice all I can do is tell them to train. They should be training instead of camping, but the gap is pretty big and I understand why some of them just get lazy and camp.

We also need a better variety of current items, i've been saying forever. This was given with the offhands finally like ice, fire, magic, etc. It would be cool if all items had counterparts like this so every player didnt have to look the same and behave the same. The diamond armor was something i'm surprised wasn't done this way. There could have been different resistances for different colors. For tank warriors, they could have used something with DEX and VIT, in addition to VIT and STR. Its simple for devs to code because it doesnt require making an entirely new item. Change the color modify the stats a tad bit. Hope this happens with the new bone items.
