Dean I get your point and look at the last link at the bottom of the post and trace it back to see all the factors I've included in the past.

I didn't forget elixirs and lux ect.

Truth be told when I discovered this curve for the first time I was happy. I commented that once people get to lvl 200-250 there won't be much more leveling going on and we will hit a cap since it would take over a 40 hour work week (even on elixirs I believe) to level ONCE.

Admin then commented and discredited me in front of everyone and said monsters to kill and xp per level is linear so mdimarco is wrong.

This post is my third attempt to show the fact that I was, in fact, correct and you can rely on this data when making decisions about your character like keep leveling or start an alt or how many elixirs to buy to get to a certain level ect.

I worked hard to get to the level I'm at and I wouldn't like people to just climb up to where I'm at because they decided to redesign the game for no reason. The game is fine the way it is, this game isn't about leveling its about having fun and bossing.

this game isn't about leveling its about having fun and bossing.

Who cares about the exp being linear, do you really expect the dev team to change the formula

what actually matters about the game
1. So a group of level 10s can effectively boss?
2. No, it's about admin making what appears to be an incorrect statement and the possibility that he/she could/should correct those possibly incorrect statement, OR showing all of us where WE have made an error.
3. As dictated by you?

That last one really made me laugh and then become angry and then laugh again. Thank you for telling me what matters to me in regards to my enjoyment of the game. I'll go right out and create my "levelling does not matter but bossing does" toon and start playing the game your way. After all, you are trying to lead me to believe that your way is the right way.

Well ppl will always conplaint but i found this game 1 easiest mmo to lvl up in the past i have play games the takes up to 10k kill to lvl up at high end. Only diference is u have more exp gain from quest the help you easy the grinding mobswith less health and 10 times more mobs per area .

But i have tested diferent theories and. Pretty much is the same kill of the previous lvl + a few more. So is accumulative i didnt find the common variable But i can tell some how is lineal.

While I love all of the maths here, it all comes down to what it takes to level vs the amount of time people are willing to dedicate to the game.

Sooo many high-level players (who to my knowledge, were somewhat-regular plat purchasers) have stopped playing the game because the amount of work required to kill mobs in OW versus the resulting xp and gold is simply not worth it. Even back in the day when people achieved levels in the upper 80's and very low 90's in stonevale, there was a grind, but it still made sense to keep playing. It seemed much better balanced.

There was a thread a while back (which I can't locate ATM), where admin stated that OTM had a current effort to rework the mobs across all levels in the game and would be able to make appropriate adjustments to xp. (At least that is what I gleaned from the post). It would be great to get confirmation of this potential xp adjustment as well if this applies to gold. On page two of this post, there is a screenshot showing that killing a magmadon golem resulted in 15 gold. This is preposterous. While all likely agree there should be a significant grind to advance in any game, the effort involved should somewhat match the outcome. You shouldn't have to be a froth-at-the-mouth player, investing in a crazy number of elixers to level at a decent rate.

Will we get confirmation that these things will change? If so, many of us may resume playing.

Lol lots of people like to say "it seems linear".

Take a look at the graph, its not linear.

But if your only looking around your own level, yes, it will seem linear but the slope keeps increasing so its not a line.
