Everyone starts somewhere. So, for those people who are lvl 90, how is it fair to them that they cannot kill a necessary quest boss because lvl 150s want to solo and sell the drops for exorbitant prices? It isn't fair to low levels. End of story. No matter how much you complain about it, it will never be fair. Stop taking the easy way out and farm like everyone else does.

There is no earning a right to camp low level bosses and that is where you are flawed. You have earned nothing. You were simply there before other people, nothing more. Just because you join a game a few months earlier than another player does not give you the right to bully everyone in game. The sooner you kids start understanding that, the better. Killing bosses that you do not need below your level is bullying and nothing more.
These other players don't need them either.. They farm and sell them, now they can always win them and sell them..
So now we can't supply our own clan with them and there clan is rolling in quest items eh?
And these players stay the same level for months.. That shows they are not dedicated, they just run around 'trying' to kill bosses and not leveling so they can kill them easier.. But the game has made it easy for them so they will just be rich noobs.
Perhaps they stay at the same level for months because clans like yours monopolize big bosses so others cannot get good gear making lvling near impossible. How many people in your clan actually need these items for mains and how many are just for alts? Seems to me if you have clannies who need the drops as well, what is stopping them from getting the gear themselves? This whole argument is idiotic. If target lock prevents high lvls from getting a lock on a lower lvl mob and helps lower lvls get the lock instead. Seems like the simple solution is that if you really need the drop, then kill with a lower lvl toon. It isn't rocket science. The game wants you to kill mobs at your lvl.

I agree with the OP. If I want to camp falgren, who's to say I havnt earned that right? I feel as though I am being punished for buying plat and getting to a higher lvl. For those of you who havnt figured this out already, target lock doesnt help with griefing in the least bit. If a high lvl kills a lvling mob that is locked on an appropriate lvl character, he ruins the xp. All target lock does is allow noobs to grief the dedicated players on bosses. In my opinion, it is a fundamentally flawed system that does not accomplish the desired goal.

I believe the desired goal was to help the lower levels who were complaining about being ks for boss drops. In the op the complaint is that the lower levels are locking and taking their kills while they try to farm the drops to sell. Seems to me like it exactly hit the mark!
+1 Dog , why should we be punished for advancing in a game ?

It's not level appropriate quest needing people that are killing for drags , that's a myth. Possibly or eventually that may be the case but not now for certain.

It's not otms fault that so many people cried instead of leveling up , it's certainly easier and requires less dedication to cry for a change on forums than to level up and win a FFA.
Lvling requires good gear. Without good gear it is extremely difficult. Lux gear costs a boatload of money. So how is a low lvl supposed to get a boatload of money? They can't when high lvls hog bosses. So naturally the best way to get good gear is through quest gear, but once again they can't if high lvls hog bosses.

This isnt punishing high lvls for lvling. It is only evening the playing field so high lvls can no longer monopolize and keep all low lvls in the stone ages.

Unless your world is 100% different than all other worlds, you can't say that people do not legitimately need dragon discs. I know hundreds of players on my world that legitimately need dragon discs but before target lock they were never given a chance.

You say why should you be punished for advancing in the game. Well look at it this way. Why should a new player be punished because you started a few months earlier? It goes both ways.

I agree with you alot. The bosses our level take alot more money to kill, idols/restores etc and don't drop items worth as much as dragon discs and mind tabs. That is why we try to kill falgren and get the easy money.

I don't feel bad for op farmers. If they don't get the kill they should level even higher so they can one hit the bad boys and move on.
Why should we be the ones made to level even higher than we are?
They should be forced to level or they don't get the kills.. Otherwise they sit at the level they are now and don't level.

You claim low lvls in your clan need them, but at the same time other low lvls are kill stealing from you? Now your clan members who actually need the drops, can acquire it themselves. Your argument is redundant.

Truth is, you're one of the people who farm bosses much lower lvl than yourself so you can sell at monopoly prices, now you're unhappy because you can't do so. Acquiring drops for your clan members is just a farce to cover up your true intentions here.

Lower lvls cant lvl to compete with you if you keep them away from the best natural gear in game.

Because you want to farm them to sell to lower level players looking to advance in the game. If you need to farm you need to hit harder or the slackers are gonna stand around and beat ya at your own game. I don't feel bad for you and I am actually happy for the slacker that got to take your kill. It must have been a difficult moment for you.

I dont have the advantage because I started earlier. I have the advantage cause I worked my butt off and bought plat. I remember the days of hunting for dragon disks. I was in the underdog clan and it took me months to get my dragons. Those were the best months of the game because they provided a challenge and some serious competition. TBH, I dont farm falgren anymore, I have better things to do, but I do feel like that if I want a dragon disk then I should be allowed to go get one.
