Didnt answer the questions........

In that all classes have problems i would agree.
Balance no chance, and imho druids have it worst of all. You say druids should be suport, how do they get killian medals, or level.

Or should everyone only level in full groups?

Because almost every aspect of this game is dps based, druids always lose out.
Even our strongest aspect is marginalized by a 1k health potion.

As Ive stated before, the problems are evident for casters that dont constantly spend money on the game, even if its on a lesser scale.

Ill make a better post later.

Why does it matter if some classes are harder to play than others?
Because you need real life money to level (lix and sigils).
Try grouping only one class of toon on an endgame boss and see how it works.
Every class is needed for a reason, as they all have valuable skills. When mixed together its a symphony of destruction. Lol
Sometimes, its better to play what is needed and not what you want for the greater good of the group. Alt and rebirth books are used daily to fill gaps.

I like mages, i play mages in every mmo that has them. So when i started this game it was a no competition, i pick mage!

Then i wonder what is my purpose in this game?
-am i a dps fighter? No rogues are better at that, unless dps means damage per second for 20 seconds. if i hit 5k firebolt with one hit, even if the next one doesn't evade it will do 1300 dmg

-am i a ranged fighter? No, rangers can attack necromancer while staying out of range of his lifesteal( and they have infinite arrows!)

-am i a healer? No that's obviously druids. I mean if you like i could just stand at mordy and cast a maxed bandage wounds on you

-am i a tank? Haaa haaaaaa haha haaaaa. Sure you give us eshield, which drains a ridiculously large amount of energy to take like 1700 dmg(like 4-5 hits from a sreng add at 50) and almost impossible to cast while being attacked, unless you have the yule ammy

-do i exist soley for casting lures? Yes

If otm gave warriors slash lure and giants lure, rogues pierce lure, druids fire, ice, and magic lure, you could just delete mages. Are lures really worth an entire class, endgame bosses might be better served if all the mages were dps rogues

In my original post i meant for lower levels, but now I can post. Anyone Saying Casters dont have problems, get out. Ok? Good, now. I've practically given up on this argument for class balance, it isn't going to happen. OTM will sink soon enough, because higher levels are quitting, less plat, and as more casters join that don't spend a lot on the game, they will quit.

So now we have less mages, druids, and rangers on the server, eventually dwindling, to nothing. Rogues and Warriors become to costly, with no healers and less buffs, they quit, and OTM sinks. I just wanted to point this out to OTM,

Now, anyone saying that 'The Classes should have specific roles "D- Heal, W- Tank Ro- DPS Ra- Jack of all trades (support I guess) M- Nuke Damage"' You can get out too. If your going to make an MMO and expect all the players from class, with diverse, personalities, to play one role? That's not right IMO. Secondly, Druids Heals are sometime useless with 1k Restores out now. Take that on top of The Energy problems, and the Unbalance of each classes. Don't forget all the Evades!

And I realize that Rogues and Warriors have problems too, but seriously? Please don't compare a class that can basically dominate with some classes that can sometimes not even solo.

Finally, if you're a regular plat buyer, and have a caster, try levelling with just 40 energy regen from items (My Druid has less ATM) and use no Hero Energy Lixs, and see how well you solo! (Mages use 20 regen gear, sense you have the Spells to regen and all).

Have you torn this apart? If so, good, IDC. If not, I hope you see and understand my points.

I'm confused by this part are you saying that a druid in the game as it is now can tank a boss if they want too? Or are you saying the game should be made such that a player just creates a character then trains the skills they want, liek training only in healing ir training in damage and healing? because if it's the first one i'd disagree. I think you may be reffering to the second one, but then we would basically be playing skyrim, what would seperate this game from that one, i woukd probably pick skyrim(much cheaper in the long run real money wise)

It is a class based MMO. A single class can't do everything. That isn't changing.

And why do you think druid, mage, and ranger population is diminishing compared to other classes? Its hard to play these classes, and with less and less of those classes, it is evident they aren't as necessary as you believe them to be.

Plat items make up for the 3 support classes remaining, that ain't right brotha.
