That's selling items for real world currency, you can be banned for that.

But someone can sell me an item that I used real world currency to buy plat to buy gold with? That's still selling items for real world currency, only you're using a middle man so to speak.

The difference is that those $200 didnt go to OTM for the ingame items, it went to another 3rd party person which is why it is illegal and probably why your account was banned.

If I knew that it has been against one thumb mobile polices before I did it do you think I would do it and knowing that I would lose my account:( but for reals I didn't know.
