Not sure why anyone hates on storm leaf

Stormleaf is the worst dps set because the fire/ice sets all are boosted by lures that mages use in their actual build. Where if you wanted to boost a magic set most of the time the Mage would have to alt for a magic lure.

Stormleaf just isn't worth it.

As a dps ranger I'd rather use a stargem ammy, a needles/dmg/double shot charm, and an extra necro/valour/emberdrake over a stormleaf. The extra vit from storm isn't needed for rangers and the lack of magic lure makes it an undesired set. Heck a rogue/warr could do a similar build like that and dish out more dps compared to using a stormleaf set.

There's also the lures that can make frost and blade equal to or better than poison on some tower bosses.

Bloodthorn, frostroot, bladeleaf, stormleaf in that order.

Storm and blade are identical except for dmg type. So if you didn't have a mage luring fire you'd be in about the same boat.

Mobs in tower ow and Carrow resist Magic the most regardless of lures

The skain items working with gara sets really help make many better. For example skain spirit neck, gara charm and skain ring is much better than a spirit gara set and a bit better than a full skain.

Taranis has had good luck with blood sets so far the last neck to drop I know of came from a 5s so it's posible to get them that way. However if you aren't killing 6s your chances at ammys goes down a decent amount.

I think rhiannon is a charm away from a bloodthorn set. We have a total of about 15 sets so far but not one bloodthorn.

Last clan auction had 5 complete sets in it. Next auction is set for this weekend or next and theres gonna be at least 9 more from the drop records ive seen, which isnt the complete records.

There is a skain blood set on taranis and at least three charms total. As of yesterday I think.
