Like I said. You could take this view. But if a lot of different accounts of an event say the same thing....well does that mean each account was copied? Or does it mean that the event probably took place? It could be either one. And because of how the Bible fits in with the rest of history(and many other factors)....I am inclined to believe that the event took place.What makes more sense is the first religion took this stance and from then on other religions have just plagiarised the idea.
