Uhh clearly friddo knew what I mean, and it makes more sense to call them tiers anyways. Or would you rather call it "leveling" up a pet when you combine two to form a better one? Do you also use levels for divine dmg rings?

Tier is the color. Brown tier 1, tan tier 2, black 3, silver 4 in dogs. Levels are 1-6 depending on how often you breed them

i didnt was actually quite confused never heard anyone refer to a level as tier since the tiers are the different pets.

so if i wanted a tier 4 pet at level 6 the formula is
4*2^(6-1)?

which equals 8^5
which then equals a very large number which is clearly not the amount of tokens

Nope, you do the 2^(6-1) = 2^5 first, then multiply by 4.

What's the purpose of the triangle graphic? Pascal's triangle is normally used for binomial expansion, ie (x+y)^n. No need to make it more complicated especially if you don't understand it lol

It's to show how many tokens it takes to breed pets. I understand it just fine thanks.

The formula for pet tokens is x*2^(n-1) where x is tokens per tier 1 pet and n is the tier. What you posted is a lame attempt to demonstrate your "expertise" with mathematics. Try one of these terms: Double, multiply by 2, exponential. All of them work better in this case
