I cannot understand how anyone can not like this Event. The reasons given are plain stupid. You don't want to do Bounties because the yield isn't worth the work? Okay, great. It was like that before this Event even started.

The thing people are actually upset about is that they DOUBLED the Bounty XP, but it "wasn't enough". What in the hell will ever be enough? If you get 10m XP per bounty?

There is no other way to look at these people other than ungrateful. This isn't trying to defend OTM, this is me saying how blatantly stupid their entire argument of "Not enough" or "not good" is ludicrous.

Be0 said it in an acceptable way, giving his reasons and not showing he's so butthurt. Then there's the ones who will just moan about this good thing and expect it to benefit them MORE. You can't possibly NOT see how idiotic that is.

A Clanny got 1.2m XP from it because he was very lucky to get 2 elite and 2 seasonal bounties. Another clannny and I got all normal bounties and less than 30k XP from it. So Otm, is this your idea of a great event? Or is it your idea of a gambling event? I have every reason to complain given the grave disparity of how much players can benefit from this so called celebration event.

I get the feeling that you're exaggerating this 1.2m vs 30k point immensely. Even if you had your clanny's luck, and got 2 elite and 2 seasonal bounties, would you have gotten 1.2m XP?

Unless there's some weird exception to the soft cap, even if you got 6 elites I'm pretty sure you would not break 1.2m XP.

Your level, 234 or 233 or whatever it is, means that any XP gain is already dramatically reduced, even for elites. So stop using misleading numbers, if you're over the soft cap, compare your unlucky XP gain to the lucky XP gain of someone with equal level.

Swan that is correct. Im level 225... Doubled elite give me 665.7k exp. Irb, a level 231 rogue, did get 1.2m. I did get 1.5m. Smelly and jackos both did get 30k. Which makes your post misinformed and invalid

Lol someone who claimed to know so much about th Maths of this game can't event figure out this simple math and made a baseless accusation that I mislead? Let me educate u. A normal bounty now give me 2.3k XP n an elite 146k XP since I don't supposed u will ever get to my level to find out. In fact all the 6 normal bounties gave me total 27.6k xp. My yellow bar didn't even move. So actually i not only did not exaggerate I over stated getting 30k XP.

I've already explained to you why this event is a waste of time. But you're too busy insulting others and complaining about others complaining that you apparently didn't read it. Didn't you say you gained a whole two bars in one day off this event? Big whoop. You could have gotten far more (or should be able to) get more xp using a lix in the time it took you to do a bounty. So, yes, for the argument of doing the bounties for xp, for most it's a waste of time compared to popping a lix. I did all my bounties and got just over half a bar. If my time is worth anything, then I'm going for what gives the most xp and doing bounties is a waste of time in this regard. If you have a choice between two jobs and one pays more but both take the same amount of time and same amount of effort, you'll do the one that pays the most.

Now this event doesn't have anything to offer me, so I don't care. Whether they would have or wouldn't have had double xp bounty doesn't matter to me or impact me one way or the other. I finally got all the tokens I need to get my final merc gloves. So, thankfully, I don't have to do bounties anymore.

Anyway, I wanted to congratulate you. You've stepped your posts up from complaining to insulting people.

I wasn't the one who said they got 2 bars from Bounties, so may want to go back and check things before you say them. And bounties take me about 2 minutes while a lix takes 15. I get less XP from a Bounty than a lix of course, but I can also get tokens from them. Doing Bounties AND using Lix is something I (and others) can afford to do.

In your case you have no time to do both, but in Smelly's case he does do both. I was not talking about you when I said Smelly should quit whining, so don't know whete you decided to butt in. Still upset over one of my first posts I see.

One thing I do agree with is ignoring him, but if I don't mention how ridiculous he sounds when he complains about how bad an Event is BEFORE it starts then someone else will. But hey, the ignoring thing sure applies to you as well. So no need to be a hypocrite and tell me to do what you don't do
