#31The problem is the level penalty is something that can easily be manipulated by using alts, something that dominant clans can easily level and gear. Small secondary clans have a much harder time because they most of them are still leveling their mains and can't gear or afford to make lock alts that are nearly as effective. If secondary clans want to keep the bosses that they can lock on, they have to halt their progression into edl and endgame, if they progress to endgame they lose those bosses that they could lock. Level lock is a double edged sword, hurting small clan's forward progression and hurting a large clan's inflow of gear for newer members. There is no real way to fix this, it will always hurt both sides, which is pretty much what makes it fair. Drops are a problem though, i see improving those rates or removing anything below royal as a way to give small clans better gear in just a few kills and would drastically decrease the amount of banked items for large clans. Sure, a royal necro totem ring or imperial light heal ring is still going to get banked, but at least we won't be getting majestic poison weapon rings or mighty curse rings. Just my opinion however, so feel free to disagree.
