The servers can't handle it - is this a joke? This is a paid product? Back in 2007 Runescape, run by Jagex, another British MMO developer had servers that could handle up to 2000 people simultaneously.
Jagex is a multi million dollar worth company lmao, OTM cant even host their own servers... theres a big difference.

And even Runescape couldnt handle double exp weekends, that s*** was just lagfest so idk what youre on about.
That was 10 years ago? It's now 2017? And 100k+ players is far different than the what? 4K maximum simultaneously CH gets? I doubt it really even exceeds 2k

Mini event will be amazing, as OTM is not making new bosses with new drops, boosing our membets with old jewrllery can also be great, as those legacy bosses don't spawn as much to gear 30 180+ players in one clan, and is spread thin among servers with more than 1 capeable clan to kill the bosses.

Do like last year, 5hrs spawn Spiders and Osan, or even Skain and Gara

Wow you're a ranger and you hate osan? What about warriors that gotta stay close and get smashed? Rogues too lmao, but he has some ok drops, that are handy :lol:

If you got an idea, in this case "double exp weekend" and you post it in a public forum, dont get mad if other people disagrees with your idea.
