I agree with a lot of what people here are saying, no one is in the wrong, very few are breaking OTM rules appart from the allegations of purchased accounts in res I haven't personally seen any proof of.
This is all a matter of ethics, members of res are always treated fairly, there have been a few incidents in the past because our rules are strict. We are a dominant clan that gets all necro prot gele kills and most mord kills, and the way we protect our dominance is by placing rules that state selling gear is unacceptable.
When in castle there are always people from other clans that offer large amount of money for our gear we got for free, but because we almost all have good morals we choose to stay true to the clan and refuse to sell. Although as you see here there are quite a few people who have chosen to go for gold and either live outside of clan or swap servers, the vast, and i mean VAST majority has stayed true to the clan and I want to say a big thanks to those people.
For example, I recently had a discussion with an ex-res member whom i shall not name, who left with gear and made a second toon, which he infiltrated into res, geared slightly, and left with the gear. In his eyes, scamming in this manner cannot be banned as it is not against the rules, so to quote him, ''scamming is part of the game''. Of course i see this differently and I am sure many others will.
I chose to believe goeld, because I used to talk to him in res and I refuse to believe he was capable of doing that. However, although the accident was tragic and not entirely his fault, I would not blame res leaders for refusing if he asked to come back, simply due to uncertainties.
Anyway thats my two cents on the matter.
If you chose to leave clan due to disagreements and keep your gear thats fine, but if your only intent in joining clan is to milk us of gear and sell it later I find that absolutely disgusting.

hey bob can you pm me this proof cause i have no clue what you are talking about and will happily take a call from you to talk this over with you, you have both my mox tcontact and my band and honestly if someone knows what they are doing they can quite easily hack ch for our accounts most of us have out accounts emails on our external chat services simple matter of asking for a forgotten pass after hacking the email service and in this world we all know this happens far too often we also quite often end up posting photos of the loading screen at server resets which show our usernames in the bottom right corner. so yeah sorry but i'm gonna have to call you out on saying that ch is not hackable as it is in the right circumstances.
