One thing that has been ignored is the class dependance on the speed of leveling. Some classes just take longer. (like mage energy regen, or a support druid who cant solo)

IMHO it should take no more than 8 hours to solo level on one star mobs your level, regardless of your level and your class if it has a solo build (lower levels can be faster)

I dont use elixers and I am stuck at 108. It just takes too long. Im working my alts now. Maybe after the update when mages are supposed to get some love things will change.
Papi - Arawn - Beta 4

Doriz-Ranger 70

I don't think level is the big issue here anymore. It has been put at the forefront because of the way the game is designed.

The content is thin and is aimed at players zooming through higher levels to access it. Players don't care about level as much as they care about content.

In some other MMOs it takes MUCH longer to level per level.

So what's the issue causing the commotion? Its simply lack of content. There's just not much to do at any given level, and thus people want a higher level to DO more things. If there were other things to do at mid levels, people probably wouldnt care so much. Its not that they are whiners or complainers as some idiots have so eloquently stated, people are just bored. I hope the new update creates parallel content, really looking to give levels 80-120 something new and more fun to do. From reading Aileron's post, it is clear he is an anomaly and nowhere close to the average player. This game should cater to a more casual type of player if it is a free game. This doesn't have to be done by making it easy for them to level, because as A said, levels should be like a pyramid. But at the same time, the new content shouldn't be focused at the the top of that pyramid.

Add a little high level content that a small group can fight over, and a LOT of mid level content that everyone else can enjoy.

Hi there, in Celtic Heroes just like pretty much all mmo games, the xp required for each level increases as the level increases. In Celtic Heroes there is a linear progression, so each level will require more kills than the previous level by a fixed amount. Our main focus going forwards will be adding more parallel ways of levelling so that it's not just the solo enemy killing xp that can be gained, for example perhaps you could level your mount or pet or clan, or pvp xp, or crafting or fishing etc etc.
