also i have been speculating about the fact that maybe Celtic Heroes was meant to be a paying game but otm wanted its players to get to choose how much money they want to spend
and finally i have nothing against plat buyers
but it just irks me how a person with no money can play for months and still get to only like lvl 80 while a player with lots of money can get to a successful lvl 150 in maybe a couple weeks
im willing to bet that all you plat buyers will deny that money isnt everything but it actually is
.
I'm a Plat buyer now and i got my 3 main toons to low 80s with very minimal Plat, just backpacks and a few sigils for the early levels. Never used an idol or a bought potion. But in the 80s I started buying Plat a bit.
You are only in your 80s. When you get higher you will see that each level is such a slog with the sharp angle of the exp per level graph. It's not impossible to level without Plat items but its just so van damme DREARY. You will almost certainly start using Elix and Resto Pots when you pass 100. Very few never use them. Where do they come from? Plat purchases.
How does it hurt you if some people rise quickly? It took me 18 months to get to 142 on my main with Plat. Doesn't sound fast does it?
The quick rise for Plat buyers doesn't generally continue past 100 because they have bought all the Lux. After that point all the good stuff is drops.
The situation may be different now, I don't know, in update 4.
Finally no Plat = no Celtic Heroes so maybe you can be a little charitable for those quick levelling players. They will slow down soon.....
.
im not talking about the guys that spend like $50 or so on plat
im talking about the guys that spend $300+ per toon
money can do anything
it can get you drops if you have enough money
for example if you shouted that you were buying some item that nobody was willing to sell for like lets say 3 million NOBODY COULD REFUSE THAT
and believe me there are people crazy enough to spend that much money on the game
