No. There are many bosses where spending 1-2 k for 1-2 lix to beat them quickly and efficiently isn't profitable. But it's still worth it for that rare payoff if you have free regen and nothing else is up. In this case above its not worth it. We won but it took about 15 minutes instead of a more reasonable 5. That's 10 lost minutes of play time.

It dosent sound like a lot but it really cuts into profits from farming and general play. You can easily blow through 15-20 a day which does add up.

It's not a bad way to go, many choose this route. However it is expensive and it isn't the only good build.

For anyone who is putting down meditate and energy well, they have obviously never been in a situation with no regens, pots, or lixes.

I am putting them down. I never ever use regens pots or lixes. If I get any in trades I just resell them.

Energy well is very useless it is the energy usage per tick from skills that is a major problem not the total energy amount. Energy well is so poor I received a free royal ring from an aquantance because it wasn't selling at 5k.

As it sounds like you are a Mage they have less problems than Druids on average. Eboost isn't good but it's not worthless. If you are very poor with bad equips it's a reasonable hold over choice until you get good equips or gold comming in.

First of all, I too have played end-game Druid and know all about it. I had 300 sigles, offhand focus, tailsman, and that's was all my regens. How did I manage? Well first of all since I was mostly focus, meditate was actualy worth casting even at level 1. You MINES WELL take it, it's extra regen. But on top of that I used heroic energy lix. Heroic energy lix will solve energy issues easily and cheaply along with some sigles and lux, you don't even need 300 sigles like I had.

Yea just pop an energy lix.... That's always the solution in this game... Just use more plat items...

Second, sigles and meditate work out of combat. If your healing THEY STILL WORK as long as your not attacking (you shouldn't be). So while your spending energy your also GAINING it back.

I read everything up to this point. Then I had to check the date of the post to see if this was from 2012. Since it's not, as a high level end game druid you would probably know that healing a person in combat also puts you in combat. OTM changed that about 6 months back. I seem to remember a few people on the forums got upset, some people got their sigils (and it's spelled "sigils" by the way) refunded, and OTM stopped selling sigils in the stores. It was kind of a big deal.

Also, if you are being attacked, you get thrown into combat which causes your sigils and meditate, to not work. Once you hit level 80 or so, pretty much all bosses do this cool new chaos aoe attack. You might not have noticed it though since it was only put in 6 months ago. There was this expansion thing with new areas and stuff. If you haven't noticed those areas yet either you should probably check them out.

Technically, you are right though. Your sigils and meditate work while healing if you are not attacking... and you are not being attacked... and the person you are healing is not attacking either... and the person you are healing is not being attacked... and all of this has not happened in the last tick (5 seconds). Other than that, meditate is definitely the solution to the problems of all druids!
