It is a class based MMO. A single class can't do everything. That isn't changing.
I think the problem is that each class wants to be able to do a few things well, that other classes cannot and the over-reliance on dps in fights means that everyone wants to dps. To better manage class balancing other games use talent trees to give the users a path to the class's predefined roles that are available. If a druid wants to dps, there is a path to that. If a rogue wants to be support, there is a path to that. The openness of CH's class skill set is its blessing and it's curse. You have the flexibility to create a character with any set of skills you want, but the downside is that all skills get a little nerf because certain sets of skills, if they had the power that they should have, would be OP when put together.

Now, anyone saying that 'The Classes should have specific roles "D- Heal, W- Tank Ro- DPS Ra- Jack of all trades (support I guess) M- Nuke Damage"' You can get out too. If your going to make an MMO and expect all the players from class, with diverse, personalities, to play one role? That's not right IMO.
I'm confused by this part are you saying that a druid in the game as it is now can tank a boss if they want too? Or are you saying the game should be made such that a player just creates a character then trains the skills they want, liek training only in healing ir training in damage and healing? because if it's the first one i'd disagree. I think you may be reffering to the second one, but then we would basically be playing skyrim, what would seperate this game from that one, i woukd probably pick skyrim(much cheaper in the long run real money wise)
I mean like Druid being DPS if they wish, sorry for not being clear.

Some classes are harder to play than others, thats just the way it is. I think that is the case in most mmo's and I dont see why this is a problem.

I think the bigger problem is in-class balance meaning some skills are totally useless. There should be reasons for using all skills.
  • Playing since Christmas 2011
    Remove BoE
    Make new endgame content providing similar rewards but without the need for dominant clans
    Add horizontal content
