^Tower update seems to be the uprising of mages taking their 'throne' back, I wont be surprised if soon enough mages will be the dominant ones on kills, I also hope they will be the ones to get Gelebron's kill first.

Rogues have got more kills than mages on Edl bosses so far
I cant see Mages getting so much of a buff on a boss that they can outdps rogues on it, unless gelebron have some resist types like necromancer does
in whichcase rangers would probably be next for kills and then mage

A good dps mage can beat an unlured rogue. So if i had to choose rogues or mages on a world id choose mages. Mages also can help warriors and rangers with lures if there was no rogues.

I would actually rather see you be able to take subclass specialties.

Mages could go into illusionists, necromancers, summoners, etc

Warriors could go paladin, barbarian, etc

And etc for each class. Subclasses would have their own skill sets and different weapons

I have a dual class system which allows 3 major skills at start, 1 minor skill every 10 levels. As admin, I am a tank with 1000990000000hp

You only need tank healer and dps to kill a boss..

In Belenus our mages and rogues were always great, but on tower bosses and this specific event boss (and generally last event bosses) mages seem to rock, I see my hits on event main and mage hit on event main, and I see how far warrior is, when my hit is like 10% of their hit (like 900+ double with nearly 3.2k dmg while I see 9k+ ice hits on dragon).

Fire mages rule on dragon, ice Mages also very good this is known, on EDL? Rogues still win unless your rogues suck, we have Mages 215+ full edl who can't outdps rogues of the same gear or even inferior on EDL, they do occasionally get kills, yes but the majority of the time it's a rogue, either Cranshaw, Jessica97 or Me(im out of hastes now so i dont get as many as I used to )

'Unless ur rogues suck', I can say the same for ur mages, maybe ur mages suck, but instead of telling us we suck u can actually stop being cocky because rogues get constantly nerfed and I dont think anyone will care if u will be nerfed even more, because of that cockiness that mages didnt have when they were on top.

Go ahead with an unhasted fight, a mage could prob win, and lets see u using expose weaknesses for mages like they use lure of assassins for u, also dont start saying 'I win even unhasted' :

Quite the contrary i keep expose weakness in my permanent build, a rogue fighting Unhasted is like a mage fighting without an energy lix. I do get kills Unhasted just not as many as i used to which is what I said, if your rogues don't haste and your Mages didn't use e Lix nothing would die.

Haste is nothing like mages using eng elix, thats something mages complained about many times, that us melee players get haste and eng while mages get just eng. Rogues use skills as well, eng for them is just as critical if they need it, while mage has nothing to boost his dps like haste elix.

I didnt talk about bosses like mordy and such where u need haste, haste isnt a must for all bosses, its recommended tho. Also, again, even expose weaknesses is nothing like lure of assassins, the dps boost difference between the two is very high, expose helps with evasions but they still have their skills evaded (with improved evasions system mages would be much stronger), while pierce lure is just an insane boost to dps. Not to mention, u get his elemental lures as well, such as lure of fire, on lvling my dps is boosted compared to mages when its a fire mage as Im full pierce/heat/poison dmg, but if I didnt have the advantage on lvling mobs mages would kick my ass.

Mages should definitely be on top, OTM really added rather stupid things to prevent them from being on top, and even when evasions and haste didnt stop mages from getting kills, they were nerfed.
