I understand feeling tricked when the curve is made easier when you're already at very high levels, but it will benefit everyone when more levels are released
Why would anyone want more levels to be added? To help discourage lower levels even more? The XP curve will help even more people reach endgame which has nothing but positive effects and no one should be upset about it.

The majority do not want levels added. And OTM has sworn over and over again they are not increasing the level cap

i m not a fan of mooving the xp curve, imo lvling is ok, its easy to lvl when u ve mobs at ur xp.
its perfectly normal that u cant 0-220 in 2weeks.
It will takes month and months for some players

Some years
And all worth it imo. It took me 2 years to lvl up to 140, which was end game at the time. Mind, i wasn't a very dedicated player, nor did i buy plat till the tunnels expansion was added. I enjoyed every minute i spent playing.

IF the curve is efficient I don't see any problem with adding more levels. Succeeding in a game like this requires a minimum of work and of course those who spend their time standing in the castle will whine about it.

Zyz I wasn't aware that OTM had made such a claim; if they did I can hardly imagine how they will keep the higher levels occupied besides with the usual boring boss camping etc. If fishing was an example of how they will attempt to do so, the game won't last very long. But we'll see I guess!
Levelling is a still fun thing to do provided it isn't made too hard (ex: no more mobs of one's level, making earning exp tedious and boring)

There was a lot of angry players complaining on the forums when they increased the level last time so OTM said they wouldn't increase it. Most players are tired of mindlessly grinding on mob after mob after mob. Now if the game had mini quests that were short in duration and interactive that gave a lot of xp, it mifht be received well as a means of leveling but very few want to see the level cap raised for the sake of raising it

I have to say, the curve is very noticeable. Pre-update I got an average of 7 bars per lix at lv 128, post-update I get a full level and an extra 1-2 bars.
Very nice

One reply: Meh...

making it easier to level only makes people level faster. Creates more hold ups with frozen gear and dl... Already a massive hold up with dragonlord armor drops as it is... imagine with even more people level 180+....

I don't see why game needs to be rushed. There is a variety of bosses and bossing to take place at each level range, quests for the lower levels to take some pressure off to buy plat. I leveled really slow back in the day and saw no pressure to rush to 150+. Now it seems to be all the craze to ignore warden, met, frozen and even dl bosses and just rush straight to gelebron... These people end up getting to gelebron and get bored so fast as well. The game needs to be more than just a straigh zip through to the maximum level. Getting to 220+ should take a lot of time and effort, give people a chance to learn the game and their builds. Having to explain basics of classes and boss mechanics (like target lock) to 200+'s seems wrong. By 100 I already had an understanding of support vs dps, what target lock was, a general idea of locations in the game. Now it seems most 200+ don't even know where rockalance is vs dominator (or haven't even heard of their names) and have 0 idea who coppinger is...

Plat imo is a way to expediate the game process for impatient people. It shouldn't be a part of the game. Maybe instead of complaining it takes to long to level enjoy the game at each stage....

I totally agree Bob. I have had many accounts up to lvl 100, forgot a password, started over again, etc etc. (I forogot to regoster my email like 5 times, lol). Now i have a 158 acc which basically took me 3 years.

I've had the same experience with lv 200's not knowing where ow bosses are, so they can't even help mid lvls then. Welp. Im fine with my lvl, it takes time to get my dl anyway. (2weeks for just the gloves, but hey). I ocasionally buy some lixes and gain some 10 lvls or less, then i take time to just enjoy my time playing :)
