I think it’s a good idea that the dragon egg rate is low. Only the 1 percent should be able to obtain a powerful pet. Players like me, simple peasants, that earn their gold from farming, should only dream to one day have an exotic pet. This pet is the distinction between the extreme, elite p2p players and the f2p players. Just like real life, only the elites are able to drive Ferrari and lambos. Whereas the others have to conform to mid class vehicles. In the game, only the elite should have the mythical dragon, while the rest of the players, should conform to f2p pets. Besides, chickens are related to dinosaurs.

Agreed. And like I said, there should be some alternative way to get it- maybe an egg could appear in your stew through cooking or you could fish one out, so that 1 in 1000 f2p players are lucky and can get one. Would add quite a twist to the game.

As for the pet itself, it's good but not great. I would almost prefer a spider as a DPS toon, and definitely wouldn't bother as a support class.

I think you have a valid point. There should be a way for f2p players to obtain the dragon. A possible way, as you have mentioned, is through fishing. The egg can be fished in the last pond at the Carrow tunnels and as you suggested, the probability for the egg to be fished can be low. At least this gives an opportunity for players who don’t like spending money to have the dragon

well, I am highly disappointed by the fact that you can only obtain a dragon egg by extreme pure luck from stupid chests. This has nothing to do with only being elite players are able to gain them nor does it divide non-plat buyers from plat ones, since I heard that a lot of plat-buyers bought a lot of chests without any luck. I highly doubt that other players getting one would be selling the eggs as I can imagine that a lot of people want a dragon pet themselves either because its OP, they simply like dragons or just for show off. OTM there needs to be a feasible alternative on getting a damn dragon egg besides from pure luck. If you indeed intended to divide plat and non-plat players make at least give the opportunity that we can buy them for plat as well and not from luck alone.

I have saved my pet tokens for NOTHING as i can hear i guess never gonna get the dragon, if its soo rare to get from the new chests, even if the people want to sell not sure it eell go under the millions

Lol you need 6 for max pet it gnna be 5m+ if anything by how rare and desperate people would be willing to buy it for think total pet tokens needed for max level and tier pet then the price for those then basically devide it by 6

On one hand it'll increase plat purchases meaning plat item prices will go down and there will be more of them.

It will finance OTM even more and one hopes that it will mean faster updates and more content.

It's the exclusivity that turns people off. It's like going to your regular/favorite restaurant and all of a sudden, they have a new secret menu only accessible if you pay additional fees. That is a bad move and will essentially turn away current customers.

The main problem imo is that there aren't any other ways to get this pet besides gambling with chests.

Which is no problem at all. Unless the supply of chests on any world is lacking.

Out of the 800 chests I’ve known people open not 1 egg, sounds like a problem to me

After looking at the abysmal drop rates of these eggs, they definitely need to be improved, at least 1 egg per 100-200 sounds right, 400 chests with no eggs is awful.

Does anyone know if the Master Cooking will be able to produce a Dragon Egg? I was doing some cooking and one of the book of recipes had a mysterious "egg" recipe in it. I think you had to be Cooking level 160 though to even try to cook that recipe. Since this new world of cooking is available now , does anyone have any idea if you can cook up one of these "jackpot eggs"??????? I know it's a stretch, but that would be a cool incentive to keep cooking !
