I always thought a good idea would be that once a player/group engages a mob that that mob is locked on to those people. That way even if another group comes in and trys to steal it, it wouldn't work because the mob is already locked on to the people who engaged it in the first place and they get the drop. Even if the other group killed it.
Sounds like a good idea, but then again the lower levels won't be able to do anything because the higher leveled clans and players would be hoarding all the time.
And that's bad enough.
Locking the mob would make it so low levels have a better chance. Now it doesn't matter whether they hit 1st or 2nd, they can still get ksed. If the target was locked to lower levels just need to hit first to get the kill.
