We understand that each lvl should take more kills to lvl but we are talking about how the xp gain doesn't increase for over 30 lvls. In all MMORPG the xp needed does increase but so does the xp gained just like it did for this game from lvls 1-90 but after that every kill gives the same xp no matter ur lvl for the last 50 lvls a 3* has given me 3k xp. This is the true question in this post why hasn't the xp gained from killing increased while the xp needed is still going up. An easy example would be at lvl 1 killing mobs ur lvl gives 1 xp then at lvl 10 killing mobs at ur lvl still gives 1 xp this is a flaw that needs to be fixed. If the xp need to lvl is on a linear slope why not make the xp gained on a linear slope but increasing at a smaller rate this way it will still take longer then the previous lvl to gain another lvl.

I dont have problem in the amount of kill need it but yes in the amount of health this mobs have Around my lvl is. 1000 kills with no elixirs. , 1310 killsx1min /60 min 23 hrs if u take 1 minute to kill but it does take longer some mobs may take 2 minutes . And the amount of damage they do is higher . Now will see the amount og gold per hour. 1310x12g per kill 15760/23 hrs 683 gold per hour lvling+ drops %10 chance of drop close
136x100g/23 13600= 600 .
So 23 hrs at 1.5g a kill to lvl
So at lvl 60. =. 200 kills x 1/3 minute = 63 minutes to lvl up 200killsx8g 1.6k gold at hour + drops at 20% 40x25g 1k gold
63 minutes to lvl up and 2.6k gold a hour
So if u train you make 1.5k at hour roughly 28k afyer lvl 120 .... Not really worth to train.

Re: Question for Admin/Community: XP
#55Anyone ever think to add new exp potions/elixers isntead? Say ones that are 6x 8x or even 10x exp bonus. You could make them ridiculously expensive if you want, but it gives all those who are complaining the opportunity to level as fast as they want. I look at it this way if you made a elix that gave 10x exp bonus for lets say 1 hour worth 1k plat, OTM would be rich and these crazy credit apple enthusiasts would be happy.
Re: Question for Admin/Community: XP
#56On the surface this sounds reasonable but there is another factor that is not considered. Time. At level 50 a fight only takes 30 seconds but at level 100 it takes at least 60. My mage always needs two e shields in a fight. The xp requirement is calculated as kills per level, the xp for enemies does increase as their level increaes, but so does the xp requirement for the level, resulting in a linear increase in kills per level required.
Also, the xp per level is linear as mdmarco has shown, but the xp per mob is not going up with the same slope. Combining the two factors and the xp per hour graph is not linear. Min per level is parabolic, use excel and do a simple experiment and it is obvious. Even if min per mob were a constant the min per level is constantly increasing.
Here is a simple example of what Admins statement means.

Duergath-Rogue 100 TheFamily Chief

Nice grapich but you got put in cosideration gold earning per hour as higher lvl u got and you will see how drastically reduce after u hit 120+ making no profitable to train expeding (16k to 30k ) per hour on elixirs ,idols and pots to make 1.5 to 3.5k at hour...

Yes, the xp needed to level up goes up at a linear increase, however the xp gained from each mob does not. The xp gain from mobs goes up fairly steadily until around lv 90-100 when it starts to plateu at around 2400 xp for a 1star mob (not sure on the xp from 2-4 star mobs). This plateu in the xp gain is the reason why leveling gets so much harder after 100, and is greatly felt at lv 125+. Up until level 90 or so, it got gradually harder to level, as it took more xp per level to lv up, but the xp from each mob was also increasing, so the leveling gradually got harder. However, after 100 or so, the xp needed per level still goes up at the same rate, but the xp gained from each mob does not go up at the same steady rate.
I'm just confused why OTM didn't make the xp gain from mobs increase at a linear rate. However, i suppose the fishing, crafting, etc., will help people get more xp, although it will have to be a decent amount in order to make it reasonable for a lv 200+ to level when they are only getting 2400 or so xp from a 1 star mob (which is about the same xp they got from a 1 star mob at level 100, and yet they need twice the xp to level than they did back then). I just hope the new xp gaining from fishing and the other methods is implemented well so that it will be possible for the average player to get to high levels, and not have to rely on hundreds of elixirs, either bought with in game gold or with platinum.
On the bright side, fishing, crafting, etc., should provide a nice new way for druids to level without having to solo level or find a group to train with- of course combat xp will probably always be the main source of leveling though.

#59Don't mean to derail, but regarding the above... I doubt crafting etc will give you experience. It will most likely be an ability like using a sword, or totem. You will just get better at fishing or whatever.

Re: Question for Admin/Community: XP
#60Wait, I thought I showed xp/level goes up exponentially *not* linearly. Well with my new data I will re-plot so we will see...Also, the xp per level is linear as mdmarco has shown, but the xp per mob is not going up with the same slope.
However we do know with out a shadow of a doubt that mob xp is going up linearly and we know the slope.
