I intensely dislike that this game has a high lv cap at above 200.

To add more misery, leveling is EXTREMELY tedious. Its a painful job without elixers once people start moving into mid high levels at 130 and above. Once I hit level 100, the game was getting harder to play. I was then instructed that people use knowledge elixers / combos to get the job done. Now, how can you say that this game is not pay to win?

I was forced to buy $100 worth of platinum because it was impossible saving enough gold for elixers and also buying lux items.

OTM should make the final level cap an extremely hard one to attain, with a prize for the ones who do get it in a certain amount of time. Then we can move on from leveling and focus more on expanding this game "horizontally", with castle improvements, mini games, pvp balance and expansions.

If leveling in this game doesn't stop at the predicted lv240 tower expansion, then people will soon see that this game is just an endless grind with patternized, seasonal events.

Who gives two shtz what you guys says otm should add more content for us paying players we buy the lix we run the game we rule the game we supply the game we keep the game running more lving mobs and bosses every update u have to grind to kill bosses thats normal its in oter games now stop your whining you little poor people....

This one speaks the truth. Break out of your hegemonic norm, realize what structures are in place. Perhaps not as extreme, but indeed - without the consumer, a product is nothing.

That being said, Heath, the rest of your post makes no sense because you literally contradict yourself. You're right, people do have the power to choose to play this game or not, but that doesn't mean people should shut up about what they want or don't want. The opposite should be true, people have the implicit right to voice what they want or don't want to enact change within the game. Whether people want to believe it or not, OTM will need the feedback of its players or they'll run the game into the ground.

It's hard to save up for lux when all your gold in the end of the day goes towards elixers.

It is all about balance. You want to play a game where reaching endgame lvl feels like an accomplishment. When you get there, you want to feel like you have something to do because of your lvl. Right now, getting to a high lvl is a feat but there is nothing to do other that camp the bosses that you were camping to reach this point and getting one of four raid bosses every three days or so.

The events are good for the temporary added content but they just a few months of camping something different.

Where the balance needs to come into play is where attaining endgame lvl looks challenging to new players, not daunting. After that, horizontal content is a must. It's not that there haven't been opportunities to add new permanent content. V3-V4 took a full year in between. Currently, we are at roughly 16 months since V4 has been released. The new engine is a priority but once that is polished, there will be more time between anything new added.

Without spending money on lixes, players still purchase plat for event items. Raising a lvl cap doesn't mean that people are going to buy more plat for lixes. They will probably wait until there's another event, buy chests to see what the get and buy more lixes ig if needed.

Obviously we also need horizontal content but i suppose in a way at is what event bosses are. I just wish that there were quest lines all the way up the highest player levels the way there is when you are under level 60 or 70. And crafting and anything else that would give you a break from grinding.

But funny how a few posters here are regurgitating the old argument that THEY got to high level and never bought Plat, and if they can do it anyone can.

The fact is i suspect there is no high level who doesn't use Plat Items. Somebody paid for them. If you are 190 and never used an Exp Elix then you are King or Queen of the game. Everyone else is pay to win ( in time and someone's RL $ )

I am lvl 189, have full comrak set, 1k sigils and 150 offhand dagger. I have alts that have offhands and share a heroic ammy. I have never payed a penny on this game tho at times I have wanted to. Tbh I think getting the gold to buy the required items and the hardness of lvling up is part of the fun of game. I think OTM should continue to raise the lvl cap tbh but adding horizontal content such as quests and even dungeons would be a nice addition :D
